I bought this whilst on holiday in UK for my daughter they are a family of 4 and cans, unlike here in Germany where we live go in the recycling bin after use. In Germany you pay €25 cents deposit and take the cans back to the shop. I fixed the can crusher to a wooden fence post near to where the recycling bin is kept and it works great, it reduces the cans to a quarter of their normal size and saves room in the recycling bin.

Does what it needs to most of the time. The only thing it struggles with is the narrow 330ml cans or redbull cans. Standard 330mls and pint cans are perfect every time but the smaller cans can sometimes bounce out when you crush it.Its been on a few weeks with no issue. The metal parts for the handle and mechanism seem kinda flimsy. If it breaks in the near future I will update my review but so far so good. It screws on to the side of my kitchen unit and it feels secure when I use it.I found it while shopping for a wall mounted bottle opener. This was in the recommendations as a bottle opener AND can crusher for similar money. Can't really fault it.

This is good for beer and soft drink cans only. Can’t do anything tougher than that
