Good price, quick delivery and so excellent value and worked out the box
Bought after previous cable for my desktop blew when attached to a multiplug blew after another item plugged into it shorted. I was so relieved that all I needed to get was this cable, and my previous LENOVO one had protected my computer

Bought to power Lenovo Dock
Bought to power Lenovo dock as a 65w supply was not sufficient to power the dock and charge laptop - works a treat and no issues so far

All I can say at this point is that it is a 20v 4.5A charger (as per my requirements) with the right plug for the computer, and it is working. We shall see how it lasts now…..

This is NOT the power supply you want.
A power supply for a laptop?Branded ones (Dell, HP etc) are expensive for what they are.In the world of electronic design, not the most challenging project anyone will undertake.That is why I decided to order a cheaper alternative for an HP laptop.So just exactly how did this piece of (insert appropriately colourful noun here) end up being sold on Amazon?On the plus side - the laptop still works.On the negative side - everything else!Stopped working 5 minutes in with an alarming level of heat.Had it continued i suspect i would have had to play Fireman Dave (sorry Sam) in my house!I am not the person you want to do that as the last time I did this was when I set a bookcase on fire when I was 8 (ok that turned out fine, aside of being grounded for a month by my parents!)So, unless you are monumentally daft, find a better power supply!Finally.I, like many people, rely on the (genuine!) reviews when I make purchasesI am putting quite a bit of time into reviewing the things I buy on Amazon to assist people in making informed decisions.That "Helpful" button below this (and all) reviews.Could you please click it if this review has helped you?That way I know I am doing this right and the time is not wasted :).Thanks
