Holds Sturdy but Takes Up More Room on your Belt
I was growing tired of my old nylon sheaths, as the belt loops always wear out prematurely, and often tear off at the most inopportune times, and the Velcro and snaps wear out on the flap. Since I regularly use Kydex holsters for my handguns, I thought it would be worth a go to try this one.Out of the box it provides good tension on my Leatherman Wave, as long as I inset it with the wider side down. I prefer to keep my Leatherman wider side up, so I tightened all four bolts about half a turn and achieved the tension I desired. This holster can accommodate belts up to only 2-inches wide. If you use a belt that is significantly smaller, there are two snap-in bars that can be adjusted to accommodate a smaller width belt so that the sheath does not bounce around. Both bars need to be completely removed to accommodate a 2-inch-wide belt. It’s easy to attach the sheath to the belt, you can either slide the belt through the clip, or there is a push button operation to open the belt clip. When you then close the clip, it click-locks into place. My only cons are that it sticks out off the belt quite a bit. A smaller width clip probably would have been better. A clip of this robustness really isn’t necessary for a small multi tool. The holster also takes up a lot of real estate on your belt, so if you carry other items next to it as I do, like a flashlight and magazine, they will be spaced out quite a bit. I think four tension screws is overkill. Two tension screws on one side would have been more than adequate and it wouldn’t be so wide that way.Despite my nitpicks, because it is so overbuilt, I am not afraid of it breaking when getting knocked around at work. I have seen those with thinner clips break, so this one is designed to take a beating.

Its what I have been missing in life!
I carry a Leatherman Wave on my hip every where! I had one with a leather sheath with a snap button sheath and that was ok. Then I had one with a Velcro sheath and that was horrible! This tactical GEEK sheath is amazing compared to the other two sheaths. It gives you quick access to your multitool and it stays retained very well. I literally was doing jumping jacks, jumping up and down, rolling in the grass, trying to see if my Leatherman would slip out of this sheath, and it didn't! I Love this sheath and any true Leatherman carrier will love this sheath also. Well worth the money!! Oh yea, it fitment on belts is awesome too, no sliding around.

Quality is good - sticks way out from waist.
I like the sheath and how well it holds my leatherman. It makes me feel like it is pretty secure. I however, don't really like how much the sheath sits out on my waist. All together is sits a good 2"+ from the outside of my belt. There are studs for the screws and the thickness of the clip. It seems well built and I can't really ding it too much for the thickness, but I think it could have been a little better designed and I would give it 5 stars.

Great product. Easy to use.
A little pricey at ~$30 but if you catch it on sale then all the better.Seems to hold a multi-tool securely. This is a decent replacement for a worn out (or lost) leather carry pouch.

Nice, with a couple issues.
The look of this multi tool holster is super cool, the carbon fiber looking texture is nice. As others have said it seems to be a repurposed magazine holder. I was expecting the Leatherman Wave to click into place, but this holster is more of a friction type. My only other gripe is that it protrudes farther out from my belt than my other options, I found it getting caught on doorways and such throughout the day.
