I love the color, weight, size, price, functionality, quality, readability, and time accuracy. This is my first automatic. It's a little too shiny, and noisy (internal rotor) for me. But, I've grown to like it for what it is. Not all automatics are noisy. (This Miyota is.) Not a bad thing. The lume is pretty good, & I'm happy with it. (I use a UV Beast.) The rubber strap retainers move around, but it's comfortable. Basically, a dressy, casual, dive watch. Day and date, hacking, screw down crown, sapphire front glass, not sure about the back. The pip is'nt lumed? Very stupid! But, for $116.00 bucks, I'm keeping it, & I love it.

Purchased the Black dial version of this Berny Compressor Dive Watch and like everything about it very much. It is both great looking and very functional for water sports and as a daily wear with short sleeves. The watch is too thick to tuck under my shirt cuff for quick viewing. The dial is easy to read the time and the day/date that are black on a white background. The Silicone strap is very soft, comfortable and easily fits my 7.5 inch wrist with plenty to go over a wet/dry suit. The watch sits high on the wrist but feels weightless on the high quality, nicely fitted silicone strap. The black to dark grey sunburst dial is very attractive and the case fit and finish are very good. No sharp edges, brushed case sides to minimize scratches. Lume is as good or better than most name brand watches. To my surprise, both crowns are screw down and both dial and exibition glasses are sapphire. Only the second day I've worn it, but really do like it. decent size dial, a little heavy (which I like), easy to read, the time and date adjusting crowns screw down to prevent accidentally pulling them out. Only gripe so far is trying to read it in the dark. I wear a long sleeve shirt that covers the watch all day, so I'm not sure if the hands need to "absorb" daylight to glow at night? I'll update in a week or so to let you know.

A well made, good looking automatic dive watch that keeps accurate time for less than $300? Don't mind if I do:) Yes, it is made in China. Too bad my US employer doesn't pay me enough to purchase a watch of this caliber that is made somewhere that isn't a human rights nightmare without sacrificing the roof over my head.

Doesn't keep accurate time over 24 hour period.

I’ll preface that I’m not a watch guy but I’ve been getting into it. Looking into decent quality affordable mechanical watches I came across Berny. Many start with one of the big Japanese companies but they cost 2-4 times more and most don’t come with a sapphire crystal. The watch looks and feels great. I can’t find any imperfections and the dial and strap look better in person. It’s keeping time and the lume is pretty good for the price. I couldn’t pass up the Black Friday deal but it’s easily worth the full asking price.

I was pleasantly surprised with this watch. It has a good weighty feel and the finish is really nice. It keeps really good time, better than my last Swiss automatic. I’ve had it just over 3 weeks and it gained one minute in that time. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another watch from this brand.

The price point cannot be best for a quality watch like this. Looks are those of classic diver's or sport watch, yet handsome enough to be worn with every type of attire you choose. The watch:s features are just as billed. Nothing to be desired as compared with big name brand watches. The movement is a smooth, accurate Japanese Miyota. I for sure recommend it. Amazon, by the way, delivered before anticipated date, and did so with great care.
