This bed side porta potty is multi functional. It was armed that help in standing. We primarily use to as a shower chair.

This is a good bedside chair if you're over 6"feet! I'm very tall and big so it works for me.

I looked at a number of different commodes because I have a rare spinal cord disorder that's causing me quite a few problems. I'm a pretty big guy, 6'5" and around 270lbs so I wanted something stable. I bought this chair, and so far I'm pretty happy. I use the handles along with my walker, and I can stand right up. I have it set at its highest level, but now I think I would do even better if I set it one under its highest level, right now my feet just barely touch the floor. It's only been a week, so I may have to put up another review in a few months and see how things are still going. But so far I'm very happy! Jeffrey.

Paint is chipped off everywhere, now rust will start forming. Looks more like a used bedside commode. Would send back but my sick wife is coming home from hospital.

This chair was comfortable for a family member in her final months.
