This heat cap is a Really nice cosy fit the material is strong and soft on the head. The instructions says 40 seconds to heat in the microwave which I think is sensible however wasn’t hot enough for me. I heated mine for 2 mins just be careful when putting the bonnet on as it can get HOT!!!.Make sure you massage all areas of the bonnet especially the middle for good heat distribution. The edges get hotter first. I would say heat in stages I liked my warmer than instructed which worked perfectly for my conditioning treatments.I loved the fact that I could walk around the house and do my chores without being restricted by a plug in bonnet. Definitely worth purchasing if you want a luxurious pampering spa 🧖🏾‍♀️ experience for your hair. My hair came out moisturised and beautifully conditioned. good product.. made well and does what it’s supposed to. Stays warm for around 30 minutes. However it does give me a headache if kept on for too long as it’s quiet heavy. but the product itself is good… my hair is lovely and soft when used with a hair mask

Amazing product does what it says in the box and absolutely loved using it. Highly recommend the product. Will definitely buy again, and it served the purpose it was bought for. Great postage too and price. Arrived when advised so no fault from me for this product.

I love a DC cap. This one is good but not great. It is hard to get onto my head because of the black band. The black band is very tight which helps it seal the heat in, which is what you want but after a while (I DC for quite some time) it can become uncomfortable.If you DC for maximum 30 mins this is for you. But if you're like me and keep it on while doing other activities, look for one that is more comfortable. I'll continue to use it because it's very good quality and gets the job done, but it's just not the most comfortable but only after a while of wearing it.

I dislike this product because my shower is far away from my microwave and the product loses heat between the two areas. It’s made to help conditioner penetrate into your hair further so this means i am in the middle of having a shower so am wet whilst I run down to the microwave, shivering whilst I wait for it to heat up and then can’t get the temperature right on the cap, not warm enough at first and then scorching!!I also nearly went arse over tit going through my living room which is laminated on the way there AND on the way back. Not the caps fault directly but not for it, I wouldn’t have had to leave my shower to go to my kitchen.Works the same if not better is clingfilm round my hair, then foil and then a woolly hat. I can see wha they are trying to do and I do believe they are decent people, the leaflet that came with the cap about hair care showed deep understanding about hair nourishment and also a keenness to genuinely help people with their hair silkiness.

I’ve used the cap once since I bought it and it was really easy to use. All you do is literally microwave it for a few seconds then place it over your head. It is a bit heavy because of the gel they use, but if you don’t plan to do household chores with it on your head it’s totally fine! I had been looking for a deep conditioning cap for a while and was happy when I found this. The price is super affordable and it made my hair feel super soft with the deep conditioner I normally use. I would definitely recommend this, especially for anyone with curly hair!

My first heatcap and unfortunately not a great experience, I have an average head circumference yet found this to be absolutely huge! There is nothing to stop this cap sliding over your eyes yet the band is rather tight and far too wide, so the back of your head hair hits the band not the heat part which is odd and makes it wet despite using the shower cap, the band is too wide. I bought it so I could deep condition my curly, low porosity hair whilst being active but unfortunately not possible with the size of this and how it slides over your eyes. I find I have to keep very still thoroughtout the half hour treatment which isn't ideal.I also find the heat doesn't last very long even though I apply it when its rather too hot to touch (I figured this would be best given my last time when it was simply hot, the heat was gone in 10 mins). Unfortunately the odd shape of this also means some parts of your hair is not in contact with the actual cap as it's a very funny shape, it sticks out away and above your hair around the circumference so parts of my hair feel quite cold when other parts are heated, so I have to really press it against my hair frequently to get the heat to touch my hair. Not recommended.

I have waited a while to write the review so I could use the product several times and evaluate it properly. Firstly you have to heat it up and manipulate the gel around to get even heat all around. The cap definitely helps speed up the process of deep conditioning and has improved my results. However if you swap conditioning products you will have differences that aren't related to the effectiveness of the cap. It does work well. Its a snug fit and although not the most attractive you'll be your hair will thank you.
