Great product.
Best purchase I made for a rock driveway project I did this past summer. It found around a thousand nails in several passes where I planned to park my car. Area was a board burn spot and the boards were full of old deck nails. No flats.

It's ok!
I wish the magnet tilted, then I would give it a 5 rating. For now it'll do. There are 3 construction projects in the area that constantly drop screws, nails and other metal tire destroying objects. This gadget will help me feel and look more professional as I am the self appointed alley (nail) patrol deputy saving folks in my neighborhood from a trip to the local Tire Center. Before I would collect 4 - 5 sharp objects each day.

Good for small stuff but i don't think this is a 35lb magnet.
The media could not be loaded. The handle feels sturdy and extends well. It's good for picking up nails and small stuff but it's marketed as a 35lb magnet and they even have a video of it lifting a 35lb plate. But when i tested it on a 10lb, 25lb, and 35lb plate it only lifted the 10lb. The 25lb and 35lb were from a different brand so there is a possibility that could be why but it did attach to them and moved them slightly so it's definitely metal. If you want it for nails and small stuff it's a good deal but if you want it for heavier things look for one with a stronger magnet.
