Very good coffee
I like the fact that this coffee is low acid. Sometimes coffee can be harsh on my stomach, but no problems with this one. It is also half decaf which is also mellow on my stomach. Very good taste not bitter at all. I will purchase this again if the price doesn't go up higher.

It helped my Acid Reflux. For real.
I drink my coffee black, so flavor is important. I have severe Reflux issues (as in take a sip of regular bewed coffee and I have major issues/symptoms. Well....this coffee works for me. I do not get symptoms from this brew. There is a trade off in flavor(tastes weaker than regular brew) that I have gotten used to over the last few weeks.I gave it 5 stars because the product delivered as advertised. It's organic which is awesome. I may try to mix this with some "regular" coffee in the future to experiment in making the flavor stronger (again I take it black, so flavor is very important).I'm very satisfied with this product. Saved me from having to give up coffee. I'll buy it again.

Hazelnut tastes like playdough! Stay with breakfast blend!
Amazon wouldn't let me select a review for just the hazelnut flavor. I've been ordering the organic breakfast blend for years--the low acid content allows me to continue drinking coffee. It was out of stock so I opted for hazelnut. Just threw away half a pot after choking down a cup because I am dependent on the caffeine. I tried another pot--same story. I'm really sorry puroast got it SO wrong with this flavor, because I recommend the brand frequently. Wish I could return it, but there isn't an option for horrible aftertaste.

Exceeded my expectations
I was a barista for 15 years and sold excellent coffee while living in San Francisco. I love coffee. When I developed gastrointestinal issues coffee became something I couldn't drink without suffering immensely. I began a search for coffee I could drink. I bought a Toddy system which removes 70% of the acid and will still use that method, but it isn't always convenient and a pound of coffee doesn't go as far with that system in my experience. A friend brought me some low-acid beans and I enjoyed waking up in the morning and grinding beans for a fresh cup. It still gave me heartburn but was easier on me than regular coffee, somewhat. But I SO enjoyed making fresh coffee again, so I searched for a low-acid coffee when my little stash ran out, and that's when I found Puroast. I have never bought ground coffee, always whole bean, so had very low expectations on all counts. But that's how desperate I was to have fresh coffee, I figured it's worth a try. This coffee really is low acid and I can enjoy a cup or two each morning. I don't feel as if I'm drinking an inferior coffee and I LOVE that it's organic, free trade. I loved Peet's french roast, so if Peet's is a 10 then this coffee is a 7 or 8, which I think is incredible for a low-acid coffee and not even a dark french. This is coffee I don't have to apologize for when sharing it with friends. I am ordering more.

Delicious low acid half caff coffee
I avoid the acid in coffee so I don't get acid reflux and this low acid ground coffee is excellent. I buy the ground half caffeine coffee and use it in my Keurig coffee maker, using a stainless steel Kcup. Buying the ground coffee and the stainless steel coffee filter means I save money, avoid drinking the plastic in kcups leaching into my coffee and I can buy a wide variety of coffee like this Puroast brand. I read that one billion plastic kcups go into landfills each year, so using ground coffee and a stainless steel filter ($10) cuts back on that. A winner all the way around.

At first good, last purchase burnt?
I’ve purchased several times previously and was happy with the low acid aspects ( no reflux symptoms), taste, etc. The last purchase smells strange, as if it was burnt or over roasted and the flavor is very off. Update: I bought different coffee and compared grocery store bought to this and this is definitely REALLY REALLY BAD. Going in the trash, I won’t even compost it or use on my plants.

I wouldn't be able to drink coffee today without this
I like everything about it... The low acid... My stomach no longer aches for hours after the morning cup (decade ago I used to drink four cups of regular coffee). Same with the lower caffeine... No anxiety.

Low acid, great espresso taste
My wife and I like the taste of espresso and dark roasted coffee. But we both have digestive issues due to the acidity of most of the brands and varieties we like. I've been experimenting with several different low acid brands. While most satisfy our need for low acid brew, the Puroast Low Acid Espresso is the winner as far as taste preference. I'm also pleased that while the grind is not as fine as some espresso grinds, it works well in both my stove top espresso pot and my automatic drip electric coffee maker. Of course, if you don't care for the strong dark roast espresso taste, you may want to try some of the lighter Puroast varieties.
