I don't believe it took us longer than 10 minutes to put it together.Very nice raised toilet seat that goes over the toilet with handles on both sides to help a person sit themselves down and get up without the assistance of another person. I have no fears that this toilet seat can not do the job. It doesn't wobble, and it fits nicely over the toilet. This toilet seat also comes with a bag to store a book or newspaper. I did not add it on, as I try to limit the amount of time people want to spend in the bathroom.What I do not like at all is the toilet seat itself. In between the front section of the seat there is the metal bar that connects both sides of the seat to each other. Why? A regular toilet seat can have that split opening in the front with no difficulties. This bar seems to be a catch all for urine that isn't going downward in a straight stream. You are going to have splash issues once urine strikes that bar, making clean up with this toilet seat more of a hassle than it is worth. (At least in my opinion)The toilet seat itself is also not that comfortable as you have to make sure you are sitting on it perfectly so you are not peeing on the bar in the front.I feel that there are other toilet seats out there that have a better design, easier to clean and at a very similar price point. Do your research. If this seems acceptable to you, then by all means, get it. But from my perspective, I am looking for something that doesn't add to my daily cleaning routine. I'm already busy enough as it is.

Sturdy and easy to put together. Do your business wobble-free and get back up without falling in the hole. Sturdy support and seat. The bar at the front is a little awkward and urine may hit it in some instances. But other than that, this worked for our neighbor with mobility and stability problems.

TheChair was sturdy,well made but the seat was very narrow.i'm an average size woman.
