This saves so much money no matter my opinion. Having the ability to reset versus purchase a new was a great invention. The downside for me is that i have another chip reset for another printer and unlike the one I have for my other Eco-Tank, this one requires a power cord to use it and my other one does not. Kind of removes the ability to take it to the printer without a cable. Still saves one and works as intended

Note; apparently not for T5820 (Epson 3800/3880)
Hoped it might reset the ET-5820 tank for my epson 3880 but it doesn't; just fast-blinks red.My fault. Actually I couldn't find the correct resetter on Amazon.Unfortunately one battery inside it moved and it stopped working so I had to open it to fix, so now can't return it.
