Drive Devilbiss Tri-Walker Walking Aid with Seat and backrest, Red

I bought this to help me build up my stamina and independence after recovering from some major surgery. Only done one short journey so far, but managed the whole distance in one go with no stops to catch my breath so it augurs well. Seat is a tad snug but just fits my size 20 frame, which hopefully might reduce with exercise. Overall appearance is pleasing, lovely shade of red, and I shall feel secure moving around outside again.

The packaging of the assembled Tri-walker was excellent and only required the arm tops to be fitted to a required height.Setting the frame for walking is a little awkward as one needs to access the locking bar under the seat but easily unlocked by pulling the cord on top of the seat. However, if the front wheel encounters even the slightest obstruction it will immediately stop which can be disconcerting when concentrating on walking and necessitates keeping a close eye on the immediate area in front of the walker, unless as stated it is a smooth surface. The construction of all parts is first class and does the job in normal circumstances.

I would say this is ideal for a smaller person as I am just under 5f it’s a great Walker I have had a few and I must say it’s one of the best I have had it’s good in and out doors plus I can sit down when I have to plus it folds flat, great bye by far but I would say it isn’t any good for people that are to incapable as it is a 3 wheel and may tip over u may be better with 4 but if you just been balance or something to hold onto to will be ideal for you.

Bolts stick into you. Uncomfortable to sit in for longer than 10 minutes. Should not have such exposed bolts.

I used the Tri_Walker for the 1st time today and honestly i was so impressed.Wish i had bought this earlier...This Tri walker helped me keep my balance and make shopping so much easier as before within 5 min i couldn't walk and had to find a place to sit.Its so light and i could manoeuvre it so well. Easy to put in the boot of the car.I really recommend this to everyone.

Bought this for my dad so he can be supported walking and have a rest. The seat is not suitable, far too small and you can feel bolts or something through it. I'm a size 12 and 5"4 I found it very uncomfortable. I was hoping my dad could use this to help him walk and get out more. Failures are the arms do not stay out which means when you are walking it starts to close rather than the frame being fixed and sturdy. The arms also do not tighten and slip down no matter how much you tighten the bolts. We had his physio look at it thinking we were doing something wrong. We were not it is simply a death trap.Not worth the money! Thankfully the physio had an NHS one on hand and comparing the 2 there is just no substitute when it comes to the NHS one.
