Don't get soaked
using anything else.We are in our second year of having a garden so are learning as we go. This year got a lot of plants and advice from a friend who plants two BIG gardens and one was when we were in the middle of a drought season was they were getting the soaker hoses out.We had been watering and my wife did it a lot of times till water was standing but the next day around four or so the ground looked dry. Her brother commented one afternoon you need to water and my wife told him she had been.I decided to go the soaker method and this fabric type from reviews appeared to be superior in ease of use and durability. The rubber types got a lot of pans because of weight and sensivity to weathering.Got 150 feet. 100 feet for this garden and 50 more for the planned expansion next year. The 100 feet was easy to lay out and the flow was even the entire length. The first thing we liked it was not beating on the plants like using a sprinkler or hose attatchment did. The next good feature we liked is it takes less time. It is easier to just turn the faucet on and come back 20 minutes later, and I know this saves water. But the absolute best part is two days later we had a different looking garden. The plants perked up and at the end of the day the ground did not have that dried out look it had been having.Over all easy to use, saves water and works better. Good buy.

Good hose and great price
I received 4 of the hoses and put them right to work. I do not understand the negative reviews about this product. They are easy to lay out and water fairly evenly throughout the circuit. The more hoses you connect in series the lower the water output on the end of the line will be. That is with any soaker hoses. Some of the reviews made comments about the hose kinking, well what hose does not? Removing the kink is very easy to do if you have any common sense about you at all. Today I have ordered 5 more that will be in use by Wednesday. I did purchase a three way valve to supply the water in the middle of the circuit. I am sure that this will deliver uniformed results. As far as the comment about the hoses is difficult to store, you purchased it to use, not admire on a shelf somewhere. How difficult is rolling up a hose? I guess if you're a total moron it's impossible. I recommend this hose, especially for the money. I do apologize for my directness, people that give bad reviews on good products because they are total idiots upsets me. IE.... slow shipping, poor storage, open confession of operator error does not justify a bad review or has nothing to do with the products performance.

Great Product
After yeaers of using a sprinkler on our raised veggie beds, I finally switched to soaker hoses this summer. I tried a couple of cheap hoses bought in town and they were, well, cheap and don't work well. I bought two of these and like most other reviews of this product report they are wonderful. Even distribution of water throughout their lengths. They work well with our well water pressure. They store flat which will come in very handy this fall. All in all the best soaker hose I've had thus far. Other than a rather sad looking box they arrived in, I was very happy with the shipping.

BEWARE, at 21% 1-2 star reviews, THAT should tell you to AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!
I research 'stuff' a great deal before I buy and initially this seemed worth the try. NOPE! The first two feet of this hose FLOODED the start of the garden bed and the remained of the hose barely dripped. That's just the physics of the water, the pressure and the hose. If the the first two feet of the hose allows the water volume to exit that quickly, the last 10 feet of the hose may never be reached allowing the middle and end to not soak properly, if at all!So upon further review of the 1 and 2 star reviews, similar issues can be found among others. So out of over 1,700 reviews, 21% of buyers/users (that's over 1/5th!) rate this poor/bad. That should be unacceptable for any product line and for any company to continue to manufacture it. In my opinion. Now, surely we all know that a large number of customers submit reviews right away, well before the product is used for a least a short trial period. Many others rate it on price, quick shipping and appearance all before using the product. So probably, we can dismiss half of all the 5 star reviews which means this is even worse than the 21% who actually used it! So AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

I recommend without any hesitation
This is EXACTLY what I was looking for to water my tomatoes and basil. It’s just the amount of water I expect from a soaker hose. No sprays, just good dripping. But enough dripping to be efficient and thoroughly water my bed within 10-15 mins. I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks, but so far so good. One warning... the holes run literally from end to end. So if it needs to cross an area before reaching your bed, get a cheap hose just long enough to allow the soaker to start in the bed.

Can be used year to year, aren't "throw aways" like the round rubber roaker hoses.
They're easy to roll up for winter storage and they continue to work on multiple years, unlike several round rubber soakers I had to throw away after one years use because they wouldn't drip the second year.

Sadly Leaks from right out of the package...
I wanted to like these hoses. They seemed better than the old rubber types, stronger, and more even watering. But from the get go I had tiny water spouts coming out. I waited to install until I had tie which now means the window of return has closed. When you put them in don't run them tight curves they can't handle it. Instead do figure 8s and overlap every one or alternate your rows. So if you have 12" rows run the hose in 24" rows and then come back through your rows on the missed 24" rows. Would I buy again? Not at this price.
