Works well out of the box
Assembly was very straight forward, I don't remember even using the instruction. Put some water in it just to confirm no leak. Moving 3/4 full with water present no issue, but did have some splashing. I definitely keep this in mind when it is oil, but it would take multiple car oil change before we get to this point.I got this because I do my own oil change, between my parents' car and my wife's car, I am changing 4 vehicles every 4 to 6 months. I have other oil pans, but the opening for those are much smaller, a big gust of wind would cause oil to splash all over my drive way. This basically have the entire top open, so splash at all for the 5 oil changes I have done so far.The issue I ran into is the oil pump still leave significant about of oil. I installed a 3 way valve, once the oil becomes too low for the pump to push out, I open the value and drain into a small pan to drain everything out. I shorten the length of the hose because it is too long.

Makes Oil Changes Less Messy
When you have multiple cars, you end up with a lot of drain oil. Your drain oil pan is usually too small or the wrong shape -you have to estimate where the oil from the filter will land and guess how far the drain oil will shoot out when you unscrew the drain plug. Then draining the stuff from the pan to a plastic bucket or jug is another mess. I haven’t been satisfied with drain pans with a built-in reservoir either. The Vevor is like a small coaster wagon. Dragging a wheeled pan with a handle means less likelihood for spills. The Vevor's generous size means you won't have oil dripping on the driveway. The unit I have is the hand-cranked rotary pump version. The crank pump works OK, but there is a shaft that passes through the pump housing that weeps oil- there should be a proper lipped seal here. I plan on upgrading to the electric pump.

Pump Leaks from cast pump housing.
First Time use, pan worked great, clean oil change. Then I went to extract the oil from the pan, Attached hand crank Oil pump, had a crack on the housing, as I pumped, it poured oil on my concrete. Ordered this in early March, yesterday 4/13/25 was my first time I got to use it and found the problem. I'm outside my 30 day return window. All I need is a new hand pump that bolts to this. NOT HAPPY!

This thing is sweet
So I read some reviews on it and some people say it leaks and so on,I used some black rtv and rubber cement on the outside…. I have no leaksThe splash guard is nice it helps control spatter or splash but as well as it is super nice to just drop the oil filter on and the oil plug on and not have to go fishing for them. But that’s not all!!! I used the pump not only to empty it and it took me maybe 25 seconds to fill up a bucket with 2.5 gallons ….In addition the pump works both ways I also used it to suck out old coolant from a reservoir just by cranking it the opposite direction.Lol and it took my girlfriend maybe 10 mins to put it together!!!One of the best tools for easy fluid exchanges or changes

Just okay
Holds the volume of waste oil great. Spot welded only, so you may want to buff off the paint and finish it right. The pump works - nuff said. Discharge hose too long -easily fixed. Steering wheels only at the rear, maybe would be better to put casters all four corners?

Spend an extra 8 bucks and order a tube of RTV black along with it.
Overall, no major complaints. It holds oil and does a semi-decent job of pumping it out. I've used it for four oil changes now, and it gets the job done. However, it started leaking out of the pump housing on day one. Not really a big deal, I've just been making sure to throw a couple handfuls of sawdust under the pump when I store it, but I was finally bored enough to address it yesterday. In my case, the pump was leaking from the front cover. I've seen some other complaints about the shaft seal, which would probably be due to poor machining of the shaft. But the cover is a relatively easy fix. Here's what surprised me, even though I know it shouldn't have. When I got the pump disassembled, I discovered that the 'gaskets' were cut out of a Chinese(?) newspaper. Literally just newsprint soaked in some kind of wax. Made them really easy to clean off, but come on guys! A bead of RTV and no leaks as of this afternoon. The other issue I've had is an apparent vacuum leak. Until now, I've been able to get around it by slowing down on the crank handle, but my hope is that the RTV will cure that as well.
