Delicious!
Absolutely delicious! I ordered some croissants made in France on QVC & I thought they were amazing, but these croissants were fabulous! They were buttery, flakey & melted in your mouth. Impossible to just eat one! I will be ordering again. Thank you for a delicious product made in the USA!

Crispy and easy
These plain croissants were easy to prepare. They got nice and fluffy and crispy on the outside. The only downside was somehow the packing material got stuck to the product when I defrosted but that could be user error.

NOT WORTH SENDING AWAY FOR
I ordered and paid for 24 croissants plus the shipping rate for 2 dozen croissants. I received only 12 croissants. The bag holding the croissants was sliced open on both sides so the croissants were directly mixed with the styrofoam packing peanuts. The bag holding the dry ice was also sliced open and so the croissants were directly exposed to the dry ice as well. SEE ATTACHED PHOTO. There were no cooking instructions for the raw, frozen dough. How long should they defrost? What is the oven setting? How long should they be in the oven for best results? I called the company directly in Boca Raton. A guy answered and he told me to take a photo and send it to their support email. I wrote a note explaining the above, uploaded the photo and sent it. (All this cost me about 20 minutes of time I didn’t have to spend on croissants.) In the meantime, I looked up on the web how to cook unbaked croissants and every site said something different, varying between 325 degree oven and 400 and from 10-15 minutes. They defrosted overnight and barely changed size. Websites said they should double. I took the median: 350 degrees for 12 minutes. The croissants are about a quarter of the size they should be, extremely light in weight (they should be heavy with butter), yet they were hard and made the sound of a stone when placed on a plate. (See photo below.) There was no chewiness inside or glutinous tearing of buttery dough that comes with a real croissant. Instead these were tasteless and papery, somewhat flaky, but not in a rich way, more like paper after it’s been burned. The bready faux croissants at the local grocery store are better than these and at least you get what you pay for there without writing emails, taking and up loading photos, etc. Don’t waste your time. These are NOT REAL CROISSANTS.

Three Stars
Croissants are good, but not the real croissant dough or taste.
