1-1 /2C,1,5C Trumpet Mouthpiece,Silver (1Pack)

I thought I would try a 1 and a half C mouthpiece since it was said to be comparable tomy Schilke that I've used for many years. I saw this one on Amazon, so instead of buying aBach for almost six times the price, I gave this a try. What a revelation! This mouthpieceprovides me more flexibilty with better endurance than my Schilke. The tone is also nearly as richand powerful. What a bargain!

A" lot for the money....good size choices for a b-flat trumpet.

All trumpet players are different, so do NOT take my word on this.As a person who usually plays a 3C, I decided to try on a different mouthpiece. From 7C to 5C to 3C, I decided the next mouthpiece I got would be a 1C. After getting it, I found out that this sounded amazing on all notes below mid-staff (middle B, as in the note above your low B) but it became harder to reach higher registers (Middle C and above, as in, the one that's in the spaces and is at the end of the Bb scale) and I honestly don't know why.This is good for support roles such as when you're playing 3rd or even 4th trumpet. You don't have to worry about playing anything high, but in case you do, practice anyways. This mouthpiece was relatively cheaper than what I've seen around, but it was pretty good too.I do not reccomend this for beginners as you will mostly see 3C's as a popular option. In areas where you would need a uniformed mouthpiece size, you'll find trouble transitioning from 1C to 3C instead of vice versa. This is mostly for intermediate players.

As advertised, a solid 1.5 C - feels just like my Bach 1.5's

I really needed a 3C mouthpiece. I am very happy with the mouthpiece, I am getting the sound I want and need.

The mouthpiece is well made and plays well.

At this price it's obviously not a Bach brand but it feels right and works like a 1.5C . I'm very happy with it.

The 1 1/2 is well made and has an acceptable tone.
