Installed lights on my small skidloader. Could drill holes to mount light or clips. Went with these and they are very strong. Added a clip with it and ran my light wires through it. Looks clean and they stay in place and can be moved if needed. Happy with the non drilling alternative and would buy this again for sure.

I've had several projects recently where I have needed magnets. While searching I found that the capacity ratings and price vary quite a bit. I came across this 12pack for $18 at the time of purchase and thought it was a good deal for the quantity.These magnets are pretty nice for the money, the rubber coating is good and helps prevent scratches on a painted surface.Unfortunately these magnets were not strong enough for my project, I only have space for 2 magnets and unfortunately the combined magnetic force was not strong enough. I did end up sending them back but if I need some magnets with a lighter working load in the future I will likely purchase these again.

These magnets function pretty well but I need to give them 3 stars because they all came adhered together in the box, making it very difficult to separate them. I needed to use a metal paint scraper to slide it between and pry them apart which cut the rubber like material which is needed to prevent scuffing on the metal. This reduces their durability.If they fixed this issue, they would be a good value for the money and worthy of 5 stars.

Very strong magnets! So much so, it was hard to seperate them, had to slide sideways. They work great for placing outdoor solar floodlights on a metal storage container.

These AHIER 12Pack Rubber Coated Magnets, Neodymium Magnet Base with M6 Threaded Studs do the job, I got them primarily to mount my camera or cell phone mounts to a variety of metal surfaces, flat or sloped and I didn't want to worry about my camera or cell phone sliding off. These little guys are strong, even on sloped surfaces, and because they are rubberized they won't mar the service you place them on. The M6 threaded studs will fit most cameras and cell phone mounts as well as light bars, giving you a lot of versatility when placing things without having to rely on a tripod.So far I've only used them with my camera and cell phone, but their versatility should spawn a lot of other practical uses for them. Pleased with this purchase because I'm going to find many many uses for these rubber-coated magnets.

Strong magnets, but tore a hole in one straight out of the box. Just be careful how you pull them apart.

I fasten these through the grommet holes of the tarp I cover a car with. They do not seam to be abrasive to the finish and keep the grommets of the tarp away from the paint as well. They hold the tarp nice even in high winds. I am very happy with the performance of these magnets.
