Absolutely recommended for the price.
Longtime espresso fanatic here.Pros:* Works well with my Breville Barista Express Espresso (BES870XL)* We use the *single* inner filter cup and yet no mess, even without the mesh disk. (Having said that, that mesh disk has actually been a pleasant surprise)* We see a more homogeneous extraction with the mesh, so now we also use the mesh in the normal double portafilter.* Another unexpected advantage of that mesh disk is that we get almost no dirt into the back-flushing channel. We noticed +90% less dirt while doing the normal rinsing after each espresso.Cons:* It doesn't fit as well as the original portafilters — it's a big tight, i.e., we cannot "screw" it in place all the way as with the original ones (of which I have two sets)* It doesn't leak, but sometimes we feel it's best to hold the handle while brewing, just in case the portafilter loosens / unscrews and flyes all over. (That has happened with others in the past)Still, absolutely recommended for the price.

Works same as breville portafilter
My Breville porta filter broke down and I ordered this one and it works exactly like it. The quality and weight is similar to the breville one. Good alternative if looking for cheaper option.

No more channeling issue
The media could not be loaded. I have been looking for this bottomless Portafilter for quite sometime and I decided to go with this item since it has the most competitive price point among the other ones. My first impression is it does the job really well. I started to switch to a single shot expresso to limit my caffein intake and surprisingly, the single shot portafilter that goes with my breville fits this perfectly.Another benefit of using this bottomless portafilter is that it makes it easy to make coffee and almost you cant spot the channeling issue. This is also very easy to clean after usage.Overall it is a good buy and I am happy with the product so far
