This is a HUGE pot! I know it's designed for commercial places but I actually wanted it for myself as I have a large family.My intention is to use it all over winter - we have kids and adults coming and going at all hours so this is ideal to make a big pot and leave it in the warmer so everyone can have hot food whenever they like...I have only tested it out once so far for the review.To start, you put water in the base of the warmer up to the Max level, then put in the big aluminium pot and close the lid. Set the temperature to whatever you need and that's it - super simple!You do need to cook your food first, this doesn't cook it, just keeps it warm. One minor issue I did have was I filled the aluminium put with soup first then tried to get it into the warmer, but there are no handles and it was really heavy and awkward to get in without dropping it down and splashing the water up. I ended up putting the pot in first, then pouring in my soup from my pan which was much easier.The soup was already hot so I set the temperature to 65 as I didn't want it to dry up at all.I don't know how long the water would last in total, but I had this switched on for 8 hours and it still had water in at the end of that time.The soup kept it's temperature although I'd probably switch it up a few degrees next time so it's hot rather than just warm.Overall, this is an excellent pot - it's easy to clean, keeps food warm and is large enough for big gatherings or large families.

I ordered this soup warmer for our BBQ and New Year's party with family and friends.It worked well when I used it, keeping our soup warm as expected. The detachable stainless steel insert pot is easy to clean. This soup warmer doesn't cook, it just maintains the temperature of the contents. With its 10L capacity, it's large enough to keep a whole chicken and plenty of vegetables warm. It's very useful for events, but it does take up a lot of space in my kitchen, which is the only downside.
