Quality product.
What a wonderful product! So well packaged. While I love the challenge of ESL assembly instructions (truly I do!), the instructions for assembly of this chair were so very well presented. A product of such high quality can only come from a chain of assembly back to the origins of this product.

Comfy, easy to assemble. Good back support.
Good quality, no issues so far. Comfortable and good back support. Seat is cushy. Arm rests are just the right height for me. I found it very easy to put together. Great instructions and diagrams. All the holes lined up fine.

Comfy chair, bad placement of items in shipping box.
Directions were hidden so well that I looked them up on YouTube first. Found them in step 4 hidden under wrappings on chair seat. What a crazy place to put the directions. Holes were not properly aligned. Had problems with 4 screws. Also missing decorative screw covers for side of chair. Other than that, nice chair.

***Serta should recall this chair!
Serta quality and comfortable for office use only, casual home use isn't the same... the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars for ergonomics is that if you are not sitting upright in "office mode" and you want to slouch and relax, the seat makes you feel like you are always sliding forward in the chair? I assume that is because it's an "ergonomic" chair, but it is well built and worth the price in my opinion.***Updated addition; after using the chair to work from home & casual use, it is still annoying to feel like it tilts forward unless you are sitting up perfectly straight! I have also noticed that if you get up or reposition yourself (due to the forward sliding) the seat height resets itself back up to the top!? So when you sit back down you have to lower the seat again... my last Serta chair never had these issues!! For the price point, this shouldn't be a chair I will be replacing after a few months - but not with another Serta!****Second update = now 1 star! (Chair still looks new, I only work from home 1 day a week, and take great care of my things so there is no damage or even usage wear) After trying to make the best of this chair, it is even more annoying to use.. it now "groans" when any movement rocking back or forth... it still feels like it is forcing you to slide forward and feels like the chair wants your to fall out! Leaning back doesn't stay (no adjustment to keep from "leaning forward") so no matter what I do, I hate sitting in this chair more every day... and now I am very worried about buying another chair blind online!***Serta should recall this chair!

Great Chair for great price
I needed an upgrade to my home office chair and found this on sale price. Took around 15-20 mins to put together with a tricky part on the last section to install but overall easy to build. Love the support and the cushions and is well built. Has everything one would want in an office chair.

Bad Value
Way too much money for what it is. This “new” chair came with many blemishes and a tear in the seat. Sitting in it isn’t anything special; slightly above average. Get a $100 chair instead.

Pricing seems a little misleading when compared to other chairs in price range.
The chair I am replacing is a Serta Claremont which has arms that adjust in height, for some reason has a better tilting mechanism and also provides far better lumbar support. I was looking for a gray Claremont. However, it is no longer offered in gray. The Bryce was available in gray at about $40 more than the Claremont, but about $70 less in black. Assuming all colors are made the same, the Bryce is a $270 chair in my opinion. While it is easy to assemble, has nice baseball style stitching, and quality padding, initial impressions are that it is not nearly as comfortable as my old chair and the arm rests are useless because they are positioned too low for even a person of average height of 6 ft. Previous purchase a year ago was for a gray Claremont. However, brown was delivered. I put a car seat cover my old chair and used it for another year. Prior to that purchase I bought another brand that fully reclined. However, I was unable to find a suitable adjustment when sitting upright to keep the seat from leaning too far forward. I was able to return it without issue though. Just the 15 minutes or so that I am taking to write this review my shoulders are already getting sore. Anyone who works at home, as I do, know how important the right chair is. This one is likely to go back, but I will try a cushion first.
