Plug and play. Very reliable
This works out of the box. I've had 2 hard drives and 2 remote screens connected with no issues.Great product

Good quality USB C Hub
I've been using this usb-c hub to add more ports to a 2021 macbook pro that only has 3 ports built in. Fast data transfer rate when using external SSD's. No noticable slow down vs plugging in directly. Have also used to connect several RODE USB microphones and all pick up individually in the RODE software so the hub is handling multiple of the same devices plugged in well which has been an issue I've had with some other hubs. Very lightweight device, feels a little flimsy but doesn't seem poorly made and nice that it doesn't add unnecessary wight when carrying it around.

Very poor manufacturing quality
Purchased in the UK in December 2024 ( I mention this because manufacturing quality many vary depending on where you bought it). The product I received features an extremely flimsy design. It is so lightweight that it’s almost impractical for use with cables, as it lacks the necessary weight to stay in place. The only way to make it functional is by placing a weighted object on top to keep it stable on the desk.At £17, it’s far from worth the price, its made of not very much. Having encountered similar issues with UGreen products before, I can’t help but question whether their reputation is built on genuine customer experiences or artificially inflated reviews - quality control seems to be virtually nonexistent.

Works seamlessly. Am able to expand use by the choice of connections so well pleased.

Worth the money
Not so expensive, but you are getting what you paid for, a few additional USB-C solts for your laptop, or other dievice limited to a mere one or two usb slots. Not much left to say, It does the job, now I can play my racing games, uploading pictures to my ssd and charging my smartwatch at once.
