Perfect for beach use! This is not coast guard approved so it was not allowed into some water parks, and we can’t use on the boat, but is it great for the sandbar and beach use. My son is still able to swim, but this provides the extra protection he needs if a wave comes.

You definitely need to be hands on with this suit but both of our kids have learned to swim with this suit as “training wheels” since the child must work to stay upright. Until the child figures out how to swim in it, do not leave child to float!

My granddaughter loved this swimsuit. She loves her independence, so this was perfect for her. Other floatations, were too bulky for her, we always struggled trying to put them on her, because she hated wearing them. She liked the ring floats, but we constantly had to be right by her side. This swimsuit, gave her & us, more freedom to have fun & be safe! She actually was learning how to swim in it. She was using her arms & her feet to get, where she wanted to go. I totally recommend this swimsuit for your little one. If, I could rate it more than a 5 star, I would!! What are you waiting for? Put in your cart! The size was perfect for her. The appearance of it didn’t bother us at all. All the other kids had other floatations on them. Quality is great too. You can remove the foam & wash the bathing suit.

My daughter had a suit like this 27 years ago. I am so thankful this effective teaching swim suit, is still available. The material is durable, the coloring is bright and didn't fade, no snagging wear my granddaughter sat down, stitching is perfect, styrofoam pieces are easy to put in and remove. True to size. This floatie swimsuit is absolutely adorable on my daughter, and truly helps keep her buoyant in the water. I always have her wear her swimsuit underneath just because I think it’s comfier that way, but you could probably just wear it as the swimsuit as well.BE AWARE: You have to be extremely cognizant when your little one has this on because they can easily flip face down due to the way the floaties are distributed. It does work well for shallow areas or if you’re helping them swim around because it allows for their hands and feet to be used appropriately, but DO NOT leave your child unattended while wearing this!My daughter was 1 1/2 about 25 lbs/30 in tall when she first wore it and it fit her well! Definitely will last awhile!I do recommend this product!

Amazingly effective. You can slowly pull out styrofoam stays and presto! Your kids is swimming!

I have never written a review before, I have read them, but never felt so strong as to write one... until now. I bought this for my 2 year old grandson.... it fit him perfect, it was super cute.... he got in the pool with a friend of mine and I asked her to let go to see how well the jacket worked... he immediately went face first into the water. it not only did not help him float it tumped him over into the water.... later after he is now strictly in the hot tub with me next to him so he could play.... he accidently stepped off the seat into the middle and i literally had to pull him out by his feet. Its not that I am writing this out of anger or even disappointment I have always been a "let people decide for themselves" person and very weary of bad mouthing products because of my opinions BUT this was a safety issue it was a drowning hazard not a help.

Love this suit, but after only a month of use the seams have ripped. I've also noticed small holes forming where the foam insert sleeves connect to the suit. It seems the pulling of the floats when in the water are causing the seams and fabric to rip. It's not a cheap suit so it's disappointing to already need a new one or have to sew it back up myself. My child is 4, so she's not doing anything to make it rip. She is literally just swimming in it or sitting on our tanning ledge.Otherwise, my child loves this suit because it doesn't restrict her arms and she can learn to actually swim.
