Years ago, I used to work for a certain famous chicken sandwich restaurant (the mascot is an illiterate cow *hint*hint*). While working there, one of my nicknames was the "Chicken Priest," because some customers would confess to me while I worked the Drive-Thru. Perhaps they did out of boredom, or I give off that vibe...Anyways, between hearing things most fast food employees do not hear from the public they serve, I used this stellar ice scoop. This is THE same make and model of scoop your favorite chicken sandwich restaurant "issues" to the grunts.This scoop works as good as a fried chicken sandwich tastes...amazing.

It doesn't get too cold in the ice bin to be able to use it as with the metal ones, and the bottom part under the handle keeps the rest of your hand out of the ice. Unfortunately sometimes ice gets trapped in the bottom part but it's just a quick flip to get it out if that happens. Also, it get just about the right amount of ice for a tall drink.

Works great when we have our Club House Parties. It's nice not having everybody's hands all over the ice. The quality of the scoop is excellent, the weight is good and feel it will hold up to the many people that will be using it.

Love the style and it protects your hands well. The holders slides a lot on the ice machine. The scooper broke after a few months, but we bought another one because we like the style.

Nice & sturdy. Unfortunately this one was too big to use in my icemaker. But not returning as I plan to "repurpose" it.

i don't like the plastic rim under the handle, ice gets on it and it spills on my floor
