I have owned iPads since they first came out and I have purchased all sorts of cases for them. Lately I have used the Apple keyboard for them, I am hard on the cases, so I buy a few per generation. I read the reviews of several of the swivel keyboards and I liked what I read for this one. Here are the reasons I like this particular one:1. It feels like it is built solid.2. The hinge is very tight, so it doesn’t move around.3. It holds a charge for the keyboard a long time.4. The hinge is so versatile, you can position your iPad wherever you like it. (The Apple keyboard only moved a few inches and was not always comfortable).5. The keys are very responsive.6. This is not a good or bad, just a fact that I have read on other reviews. It is heavier than any of the keyboards I’ve owned before, but it seems like that has to do with its durability…Here are some things that I wonder if it would make it even better, it is possible that I just don’t know how to set it up to do some of the issues.A. It would be nice to draw the power from the iPad instead of having a separate charging port.B. I cannot figure out how to access the emoji’s from the keyboard, I have to do it from the screen keyboard.C. It takes a minute for the iPad to read this keyboard and it looses the connection easily sometimes, then I just have to hit a random key a couple of times to get it back.I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good keyboard.

High quality keyboard, feels like a laptop keyboard. The backlight is very bright and makes keys easy to see, keyboard flips around and behind the screen when you don’t need it. Great item!

Perfect fit for my ipad pro! I had been searching for a keyboard for my ipad for a while and this was a great choice. It works great and looks nice. I do still need to learn more about its features, but I'm happy with it so far. The only drawback is it makes my ipad a bit heavier than I would like.

I am very satisfied which the Typecase keyboard/case for my 13 inch IPad Pro. The case is well built and looks nice, cleans up easily with a moist wipe. The keyboard keys have a good feel to them and key travel is just right for me. The backlighting is good and bright with a good selection of colors. The adjustability of the screen makes it easy to share your work with others. The documentation comes on a clearly illustrated large card written in a format that gives no indication it was poorly translated from another language. I recommend this product not only because as above but also for the excellent after sale support from the company.The company stepped up to the plate correcting an issue I had that was not their fault in any fashion.I recommend the product and the company.

*One week update: the “n” and “ b” keys stick often (hope it’s lessens over time), the volume button on the side gets stuck in a loop (usually volume down) because the case easily shifts when opening (and the hinge is really tight so it exerts pressure trying to close it back). I expected this (despite the tight hinge) but the “screen” does bounce when you touch it in any way or if you have a soft or imbalance surface when you have it in the “laptop” position. I do really like the rotating hinge because it allows me to put the device into a fold mode for tablet/writing use. The hinge allows you to cover the keyboard instead of having it exposed underneath which was the case with my previous laptop. I feel if they offered a clip in screen protector, the tablet would be housed safer and possibly eliminate the volume button issue.Overall, not a bad device. A couple of “quirks” but nothing that would be a deal breaker for most. My favorite part is the rotating hinge. Helps when I’m doing my own college coursework or assisting my kids with their homework. Also came in handy to watch movies when the power went out. I would not recommend it for people or students who do not treat electronics carefully but it’s easy to install and operate. ** Include photos and video. Screen is smudged with another brands screen protector on it. End of update**The bad first because it’s mainly my pickiness. I chose this keyboard because of the rainbow backlit keys. However the only rainbow effect does a breathing effect (brightens then dims to switch to another solid color). Or you can choose a solid color. I honestly would have spent more money to get the case color I wanted instead of black. My other meh feeling comes from the instructions. Be careful when moving the screen/tablet back as the huge spring appears tight or something. When it was at a certain point it slammed my tablet down. It’s protected but startled me.The good news is that it seems like a decent case. It was easy to set up and easy to install my tablet in the holder. Very responsive to typing and the trackpad works well. I have not attempted any hot keys yet.. The swiveling feature is pretty awesome. Torn between returning to get something I’m happier with. I wanted to be able to find the correct keys while typing my class lectures. I may find another solution with something to put over the keys.

this was the only case i could find with somewhat flexible positions of the screen possible when i bought a new IPAd PRO. But its bluetooth and track pad (latter is too big and unwieldy) are terribly designed. It ALWAYS disconnects the bluetooth in the middle of my typing, stopping the keyboard and jumping to the on-screen keyboard, but i fail to perceive it in time, so it arbitrarily stops typing. Horrible design of keyboard bluetooth connectivity! Even when i “turn off” trackpad, it restarts itself unexpectedly. As a result I spend too many hours retyping what the keyboard missed. Trackpad jumps all over the place randomly, including to other tabs and applications. A horrible typing experience!

Excellent. Works exactly as described and is super easy to pair with an iPad. A bit heavier than I wanted, but at least I know the iPad is secure. I had bought the magic keyboard by Apple and it wouldn't work at all and my iPad kept slipping down off the magnets so it was neve secure. This holds my iPad firmly in place. Highly recommend.
