Worthwhile upgrade!
I've been replacing these gearboxes in my son's Huffy Torex for years with stock replacements. These new ones with metal gears haven't failed since I got them. So worth the upgrade!

Slower motors, slower ride on
Motors do fit the 24v torex ride on, but they are not the same rpm, they are 2300rpm, originals are 3250 so the ride on is much slower with them installed.

Good fast motors
They work well and were a good drop in replacement. Just make sure the dimensions match your old parts
