Good for my 10 & 12 yr old.
It's a little short for my older kids but they like how lightweight it is. They say it holds a lot of BBS. My younger kids also like how it suits they better. The length of it is good for my 10 and 12 year old.

IT'S A HOOT !!!!
Daisy Powerline Model 35 Camo Multi-Pump Pneumatic .177 Pellet/BB Rifle. The factory sealed carton arrived inside a plain Amazon box.The rifle looks good and feels solid. If it has a long smooth bore, isn't it a GUN and not a RIFLE ??? But then Naval GUNS have riflings. Crazy !!!!Pump action is tight and smooth. Not particularly hard (5 out of maximum 10 pumps).Windage was spot-on. Elevation took 3 BB's to walk into the bull's eye from 40 feet away.First 5 shot group (VERY slow fire) was a 2" circle .... Rather good for me, I'm 78.Trigger has a half-step position. NICE !!!! After that, it's short and smooth. Very nice trigger action.Noise is not loud enough to make you look for ear plugs, even indoors. But then, there's this ....Once cocked, there is no way to de-cock the gun short of pulling the trigger (that I can see).BB's are easily loaded by way of a small sliding door on the left side of the receiver but it is very easy to dislodge the door when handling the gun and spill BB's. Which, by the way, is the only way to unload BB's.The next day, after I was able to practice with 30 or 40 shots, I was able to keep 9 out of 10 shots of a rapid fire session in a 4" circle from 40 feet. You say "What ????, Wait! Rapid Fire with a pump BB gun ????", Well, it was as rapid as an old man could do 5 pumps, re-acquire the target and pull the trigger. I didn't time the session but I'm sure it took less than an hour ;-)This is not to brag about MY speed or accuracy because neither are all that special as any shooter can tell. But rather to show that the Daisy is capable of much greater accuracy in the hands of a marksman.A key reason for buying the Daisy is to try and lure my teen grandson away from video games when he visits. I've set up a 40' indoor range range where we can shoot together. Do you think it'll fly ????Overall, the Daisy feels well balanced and is capable of being very accurate. Plus, it should be a lot of fun at any age !!!!I LIKE IT, IT'S A HOOT !!!!UPDATE; I've noticed some remarks about the Daisy 35's lack of power and I'm thinking, "Really? Do we have the same gun?". Well, it says Daisy 35. So, I want to try something.I take an ordinary STEEL grocery store type food can and I hang it in front of my steel BB trap. From 35 feet away and with 5 (of a maximum of 10) pumps .... I put a BB all the way through both sides of the can. I try 4 pumps and get the same results. All the way through both sides. At 2 pumps, the BB tore through the first side and cut a hole in the back side but fell back into the steel can.So, 8 or 9 pumps might do what ???? Well, I didn't try it. I usually shoot from 35 feet using just 2 pumps as it seems to offer more control which makes it easier while TRYING to hit a 1" bullseye. And, I need all the help I can get ;-)So, don't shoot your toe off !!!! Daisy 35 has a serious bite.ANOTHER UPDATE: In case you have a similar situtation, the teenager forgot all about the video stuff !!!!SPEED/POWER: Daisy says 690 fps max (out of the box?) However, I'm kinda like our friend who's looking in the direction of 800. Pumped to the max pressure with aerodynmic pellets and properly oiled seals (to minimize leakage), who knows how fast you could end up !!!!

Very strong shot.
This is a functioning gun! It’s short so it should be for children. But it is powerful! I would not buy his for a child that was careless. It would put a hole in a window for sure.

Impressive accuracy
I bought this BB gun for my grandson’s 9th birthday. He absolutely loves it! It is the first gun he has ever shot. The accuracy seems to be spot on. After only a couple of practice shots he was already knocking cans off a log. This is the perfect first gun for a kid to learn about gun safety.
