Good value solid and stylish connector
I had a particular requirement for this - using a tablet to output an HDMI signal whilst making sure the tablet didn't run out of juice and it seems to be doing the job perfectly.Picture quality is great, easy and simple to connect and seems to charge the tablet at a reasonable rate too - certainly is compatible with my set up and does the job I wanted it to for a reasonable price.Thumbs up from me

Useful and does one job well!
Having used, many adapters, including 5,6,7,8,9 in ones with HMDI included, Apple's official HDMI adapter but then running out of juice, this is the best of both worlds! It simply does one job well and allows you to keep charging the ipad/iphone.Highly recommended

Didn't work passing power or triggering correct resolution through HDMI
Just doesn't do what its supposed to me in my experience. Plugged into HDMI cable and 100w usb-c power, with appropriately rated Anker cables . Briefly looked to be charging and sent HDMI signal to monitor (but wouldn't let it recognise HDR which it did when plugged directly). Randomly stopped charging. Randomly forced wrong resolution. Doesn't do the job...

Nice compact easy to use solution
This is quite a nice adapter, power in, display out with hdmi.It's very easy to use the connections are just right cables fit snug, not too tight, not too lose, only downside for me is I'm only using it with a 1440p monitor and it will only do 60hz, I suppose for a mobile device this is good, but I've used others that offer the full refresh rate of the monitor. How ever it's brilliant value and it's a nice design I much prefer the cable split than a rigid block it just makes connecting that much easier. Unless you need higher refresh rate I'd recommend this cable!Just to note, at 1080p this will do 120hz! It does list 4k at 30hz but I'm unable to test that
