I recently purchased the Garmin Drive™ 53 GPS, and I am beyond impressed with its performance. This device has completely elevated my driving experience! This GPS is a must-have for anyone who needs reliable, user-friendly navigation on the road. I highly recommend it!

This item, Garmin Drive 53 with Traffic reconditioned, which I received as a replacement for my original order, has caused significant inconvenience. The product produced an error when I attempted to register with Garmin, and as a result, no updates to the product software or maps are available.After exhausting all attempts to register this replacement, with the error resulting, I contacted Garmin both via online chat and phone. Prior to this, I tried all recommended steps to resolve the issue. I spent 43 minutes on the phone with an excellent Garmin support representative, providing various requested information, including product identification, and following each verbal instruction. The support person was unable to register my Garmin Drive 53.I am currently awaiting further assistance from another technical support person. During my phone call, the support person informed me that, “it could be today, hopefully by the end of this week, but possibly next week” before I receive a response.Since I could not register the initial device and accepted a replacement, it appears to both the Garmin support person and me that this is not an isolated incident. The only explanation I was given was that purchasers of the “Renewed Drive 53 with Traffic” from the same source probably have not attempted register or update the device or maps.This issue has significantly impacted my customer experience, and I do not recommend this offered item for purchase. This is not an out-of-the-box user friendly and straight forward item and does not perform as expected.

Highly recommend! The simple on-screen menus make it extremely user-friendly, even if you’re not very tech-savvy. Highly recommend for anyone needing a dependable and affordable GPS!

I bought it refurbished, but it It would not Bluetooth to my phone To pick up traffic, nor would it hook up to my computer to update the Maps? I was on the phone with garmin Support for 2 hours still could never get it to work. So I returned it. Also, scanning the QR Code on the back of the item would not work either.
