Great invention
I didn't know that a retro fit bidet was even available until a friend suggested I look into it as I was facing surgery on my dominant hand. I thought you had to purchase an entire fixture to have such a feature. Let me tell you, this is one great and very reasonably priced item! I purchased the left-hand version as my vanity is on that side. A suggestion to other potential buyers: Buy a longer hose (48") and a 3/8" chrome tee with an integral ball valve (both available from Amazon) and tap into the hot water supply under vanity to enjoy a warm wash instead of cold especially if you have a well as we do. It requires a small hole drilled into side of cabinet but it looks fine and is well worth it! The tee/valve connects on top of a chrome shutoff valve, which is the standard valve usually present. Very easy. Highly recommend! Forgot to mention that Rufus could not answer if it would work with an elevated seat. I have a 3" Kohler elevated elongated seat from Amazon due to hip replacement and the bidet works perfectly. Just added clear "pee guards" from Amazon to the front portion to close the gap between seat and toilet rim.

Should have got this a long time ago
This was super easy to install. The only tools I used were tools to remove my toilet seat. I hand tightened all the connections ( hoses ) only. I only used the provided Teflon tape for the T connector that goes on the bottom of the connector to the valve from the wall. I really don't think I needed to use it at all to be honest. I would say it took me a half hour in total to install. That's getting my tool bag out, removing the debris ( box and packaging ) and such. My tip to you, use YouTube as a great guide. The videos on YouTube may not all be this particular bidet. but they are a great guide. Everyone does not have the same toilet or toilet seat, so tools maybe different. The only tool I used was a 1/2" box wrench for removal/install of my seat. No leaks at all after install. The bidet itself works fantastic! I was very impressed by how well it worked. I will be saving a small fortune in toilet paper now. My wife loves it , I do wish it had the front nozzle for cleaning a woman's Y area. The model I bought will only clean the brown bullseye, but it does a very good job. The water pressure is strong enough to get a good blast of water at it. Some people say it's too powerful, but you can control the amount of water pressure with the control knob. I bought the simple one, the Brondell South spa, with only one control knob.If you know how to use a screwdriver ( most seats use a big screwdriver for removal ), know how to follow step by step instructions ( again use YouTube ) then you too can install this to your toilet. Also, you will still need toilet paper to pat your bottom dry from the water. But only one good pat should do the trick. You will feel much cleaner now with this bidet than using just toilet paper. I would recommend getting a bidet in every one of your bathrooms if you have more than one in your home. Just keep in mind the distance between your toilet to wall or cabinet. You may need the controls on the left side, like I did cause of the sink cabinet in the way, or the right side.

Great product for the price but install properly!
This is great and works as promised, however remember that for 40 bucks you might have to make a few adjustments to get it to work properly. First of all - use the plumbers tape on all fittings; trust me on this one. Second - you may have a toilet seat that doesn't sit quite right and cuts off the water supply to the nozzle. Buy bumpers or get a new seat that sits high enough to avoid this. You can also adjust the seat forward or backward enough to fix the problem, but it might look a bit off. Be patient! Once installed properly this product is awesome! You will still however need to use some toilet paper, at least to dry off the water, but certainly less than before and no wet wipes required! Love it.

Perfect after right shoulder surgery
I had right shoulder surgery, so my right control bidet was useless. This one works very well and allowed me to continue using it after my surgery which was very helpful, since I am right handed.

Feel so much cleaner
Hypothetical: if you get mud on your hands and wipe it with some paper towels, would you consider your hands clean? I would not. Now imagine going Number 2 and wiping your nether regions with toilet paper. Clean now? What about smell?I saw an interview with a Little Person where he revealed that Little People can tell who (among Big People) is clean and who isn’t by their smell, while Big People haven’t a clue. You can guess what smell he was talking about. This bidet is a paradigm shift for me. My entire family uses this daily. I feel cleaner and more confident about my hygiene.Installation: fairly easy and straightforward. Takes about 10-15 minutes to install. Mostly taking the tubing off and putting the adapter (pictured) on and making sure things are not leaking. I had to look for a left side bidet because of my bathroom setup. So this worked out great.Cheapskate rating: worth the money, especially if you have a lot of women in the house. They love it.

This product was a lifesaver!
Had to have tendon repair on my dominant right hand and knew I wouldn't be able to use it for at least 2 months. I knew this was going to be a "rough ride" and I was right, this is no picnic. I'm about halfway through this nightmare. This left-handed bidet has been such a help. My husband had it installed in less than 10 min and I was using it a week before surgery just to get used to it. You won't regret purchasing this bidet, it's wonderful! Great price, prompt shipping, no damages, works perfectly. I now wish I'd known about and bought this years ago.
