A must have
This transport board was a game changer! We are able to move my neighbor on and off his bed to his wheel chair and even from the car to the wheelchair with ease! It took a little getting the hang of it but now he is using it alone too!

Good transfer board
I recall using a similar board for our mother. Finding this one on Amazon was thrilling. I appreciate this board as it assists me in getting into bed or the car on difficult days when movement is challenging. It hasn't caused any damage to the car seats or bed sheets. It has proven to be an extremely useful accessory.

Not usable product
I have now tried three different wheelchair, portable potty chairs and none help for patients that are bed bound. The ease of use leaves much to be desired.

Tranfer convenience, and some unintended versatility while bathing!
Not only does this board support my movements while I'm in recovery mode, but it also adds convenience while I'm in the bathtub. I weigh around 150 pounds and it does support me during all my transfers, going from my bed to chair, and from the chair to the bathtub, but it does noticeably curve or flex, especially when I'm in the middle. The reason I mention this is because it's described to support 300 plus pounds, but I just can't see that with the amount it bends underneath of me. Of course this is my observation only, and not something I have any way to verify for certainty, so I would say to just go slow and perhaps, have secondary support during your first transfer if that upper weight range is applicable. I liked how this also spans the width of my bathtub, because I can use it to like a table for holding shampoos and other items right in front of me while I'm bathing. It's actually lessened all my usual fumbling around for more soap when my eyes are closed with shampoo in my hair. I didn't think of using it this way until I had it next to the tub and the idea dawned on me. I like it even more now than what I originally got it for. Even though this is blue in color, it sure doesn't make me feel as blue when it helps me in more ways than first intended. I'd recommend it to anyone in a related situation. Best wishes to you during your recovery, and thank you.

Sturdy, Functional Transfer Board
Anyone that works with people in wheelchairs understands the needs for a transfer board and this one does the job easily and well! In my case, I am able to use it to transfer my family member from the wheelchair to car, to the bed, or to other locations, with it acting as a safety net and as an assistance tool.It is very sturdy, rated up to 440 pounds, and has one smooth side to allow for smooth sliding and the underside with a textured surface for grip. The indentations on the sides allow it to hook onto the wheelchair (or another poled surface) safely during transfer. It is a very welcome device for caregivers! It is simple to use and provides a great assistive help!

Helps with mobility issues
This really helps with individuals with mobility issues to get them safely from one seat to another without having to grab fragile arms and pull. They can slide easily once this is in place, making it much easier and safer to transfer them.

Curved transfer board that is long enough to bridge larger gaps, but requires careful placement
This YHK Transfer Board and Slide Board is pretty handy and works to assist with transfers for someone who can't stand on their own but has enough trunk strength to hold themselves up in a seated position and to help at least a little with scooting. It works to transfer my wife between her wheelchair and recliner. The height difference between the source and destinations needs to be within about 3-4 inches or it won't really work. This board is very sturdy with very little flex even with a 250 lb adult sitting on it. It's rated for much heavier patients, but it would be difficult to transfer someone that heavy.Overall this is a good product for caregivers needing a curved transfer board.
