Bought these for my wife who is from Argentina. She used to buy this brand there, and loves to drink this every day! Fresh and delicious! Great choice!

Safe drink

I drink this steeped in hot water, 1x sachet in ~190F water for about 8m or so, no milk or sugar added.I've been trying yerba mate as an alternative/supplemental hot drink over the last year. I like the flavor quite a bit. This suave variant I think is pretty close to the regular sort I've been drinking, maybe slightly milder. I purchased it in hope that the caffeine content would be lower, but it's about the same, 1mg per 1g of herb.For those who haven't had it, I would describe it as mildly bitter, grassy/shrubby in profile, but not at all acrid. Definitely worth trying if you haven't before. I don't know if I'll order this specific brand again or try a different variant, but this was a good buy and especially good value to become familiar with yerba mate.

I'm still not exactly sure what the difference is between yerba maté and maté cocido. It tastes great though, and the energizing effect is the same. If you want to save a couple bucks, the Union Suave brand is fine.

I was given my first box of this mate by a friend and was so pleasantly surprised with the smooth and robust flavor. I have already bought a three pack here to continue drinking. This is my now go to for at work and on the road.

The size of this box is small. I thought I was getting a larger box for this price - locally I can get a box almost twice the size for this price. And when I received it and realized how small the box was I was not able to return as this item is not elligible for return.
