Big upgrade for 2016 Subaru Crosstrek
Great improvement compared to stock in a 2016 Subaru Crosstrek Premium. Direct plug and play. Recommend using plastic auto trim removal tools, also need a 90 degree screwdriver adapter or low profile wrench to remove old and install new, easy 15 minute task.Definitely worth it for the price!

Excellent upgrade from stock tweeters.
This has only been in the car for almost a week, but it is a great upgrade from the stock tweeter in a '25 Subaru Crosstrek. This has an actual magnet attached and the detail, separation and clarity is far better than the one it replaced, At $100 dollars it is a bit of a bargain, and should be considered as a base for upgrading the stereo. It is easy to install, excepting for the very tight space for accessing the (2) screws. I improvised a tool and it was no problem after that. The wiring was one simple connector and the job was done as soon as the fasteners were reinstalled.

Great bang for your buck!
I had already upgraded my head unit and door speakers. Was definitely noticing some crackling on the stock tweeters. These were plug and play on my 15 XV. Are there better speakers for the money? Maybe but these are night and day from stock and easy to install. Highly recommended! Make sure you have a stubby Phillips head!!

Direct replacement for Toyota 4Runner - but couple notes to point out
Direct replacement for my 2020 Toyota 4Runner as also mentioned on other reviews. Yes it is “plug-and-play” - you won’t need anything else to install. Definitely an improvement in sound from stock so “price to upgrade” ratio was good. Some notes on install:1. Plastic, interior trim pry tool recommended. But mine was at my office and I was excited and impatient so I used a butter knife with some tape - no problem.2. Bolts that attach the speaker to the speaker bracket are VERY tight - maybe to ensure they don’t vibrate loose? Easier to remove the entire bracket w/speaker and then work on removing the two speaker bolts. Trust me - otherwise you will bend the bracket. The bracket is thin and is easily bent.3. The weld nuts on the back of the speaker bracket for the speaker bolts are square with rounded corners. And again, these bolts are insanely tight. The spot welds will make it hard to use a standard or adjustable wrench on the weld nuts and the wrenches won’t hold - that’s how tight these bolts were on. It is best to use vise-grip pliers to hold the weld nut as you loosen the speaker bolt from the speaker bracket.Other than the extra time it took me to figure out how to get the super tight bolts out, this was very straightforward. Knowing the best process now, I could do this on someone else’s truck in 10 minutes or less for both speakers. And now you know.

Bad ass
Crispy highs that are way better than my original speakers in 2017 Tacoma! Exact replacement size & mounting. Easy, very affordable upgrade.

All I can say is WOW, on both sound & ease of installation.
Installed these on my 2019 Toyota Sienna SE. It has the Entune 3.0 Premium System but speakers not so much. Pushed down a little on the dash allowed for a pry tool to pop up the speaker grills with ease. These are easily unbolted plug and play ready and installed everything back including grills. Perfect fit as well. Oh but I was not expecting this much improvement in mids and highs. Such nice details in guitars and vocals is impressive. These Kicker tweeters kick the heck out of the OEM tweeters which are sun faded even with a dash mat covering them. I am very pleased with this product.

Perfect upgrade for 4Runner and Taco owners
I added these to my 3rd gen Tacoma and now my 5th gen 4Runner and they’re a great plug and play solution for a bit extra clarity. They don’t work with the JBL systems as easily but for the standard audio, they fit right into the tweeter spots on the dash and plug right in.

Works great for 5th gen 4Runner NON-JBL system dash speaker upgrade.
I tried the JBL 3.5 inch speaker upgrade that you've probably seen on YouTube if you are researching 5th gen 4Runner dash upgrades. I had a feeling that having JBL's famous titanium tweeters bouncing off my front window glass might not be the sound I was looking for, and it wasn't. I took them out and returned them. Nothing against JBL, those speakers just didn't work out in this scenario. They were too loud and out of balance with the rest of the system, and replacing the whole thing was not my goal.I don't hate the stock non-JBL Toyota system either. It just struggles with high frequencies, like there is something missing you would like to bring out with the EQ, but it can't be done. These Kicker-made Subaru speakers solved that and the fit perfectly in the Toyota bracket. They even use the same connector. It sounds like the same system with these, but better. The change in sound doesn't leap out at you, but what was missing before in the high frequencies is there now. That's exactly what I was after. These speakers are $100, BUT minus the cost of adapters, wiring harnesses, ect. you would need with off the shelf car speakers. Given that, and how perfectly at home they sound with the factory system, I think they are well worth it.One word of advice on installation: Break loose the bolts holding the speakers to the brackets BEFORE removing the brackets from the dash. They are on there pretty tight and there is no good way to hold them and get the bolt loose out of the dash.
