Like a princess
This dress is an absolute dream! I love the shades of pink and the intricate design on the apron. Those who are originally from Germany like me will know what I mean when I say the dress likes looks like the Ballkleid in 3 Nűsse fűr Aschenbrödel. I wore it to church for Christmas and got so many compliments. I felt simply beautiful in it.I normally wear a size 8 and I ordered a 10. I would’ve like to get it in a 12, but apparently that is not available. I had another dress from the same company in a 12 and so I was able to try it on, and it would’ve been too big in my chest. You want the bodice to fit snug, but not so snug that you can’t breathe or move, but it will feel a little bit like a corset. The size 10 was perfect for me, the separately ordered blouses were not, and so I had to improvise with my own shirt until I can get some more blouses.Do not hesitate to buy this, this is a tremendous value for the craftsmanship!

Beautiful quality. Sizing is a gamble
Let me start with the fact that the quality and detail of this Dirndl is STUNNING. The ONLY problem I found with it was trying to find the right size. Trying to find the correct size with any online dirndl dress is hit or miss. But they do try to help with size charts etc. I'm returning this only to get a different size.Dirndls tend to run smaller in general. They're supposed to be snug and form fitting. If you have a larger chest I would size up another size. But truthfully, the top part is small because it's designed for "the girls" to come up and out and say hi. Not to contain them down into hiding. There's no room for them there.Everything else about this outfit is beyond quality. LOVE the side zip instead of back zip. It makes it so much easier to get into the dress if you have a pear shape body and have a tightness issue trying to get into the dress.Everything is double line and thick quality construction. Even little details of hidden buttons to hold the apron up in front to prevent it from sliding down. The apron on this design is just a little heavier due to the beading on the bottom edge. And let me say that the beading is exquisite and so sparkly. The picture doesn't do it justice!

Authentic Dirndl for a reasonable price
I was skeptical buying this, the price is very reasonable and I was afraid everyone at Oktoberfest would be wearing similar ones. However, I was pleasantly surprised. First of all, this is beautiful in person. The quality is quite nice for price point. We just returned from Munich and received so many compliments on this dirndl. Also, was mistaken as Bavarian several times. Friends of mine who are locals there thought I had it custom made and were surprised when I said I purchased it on Amazon. There are a lot of local stores to buy dirndls at once you’re over there, close to the Oktoberfest festivities, but most of them were cheap looking/costume type dirndls and the prices ranged from €30-80. True dirndls hit below your knee. I’m 5’2” and this came mid-calf on me. This one was perfect! I’m so happy with it. I’d highly recommend purchasing a more authentic looking dirndl and would definitely recommend this brand to a friend. My only note: They do run slightly small. I’m a US size 8 which I think is supposed to be a 38, but I ended up with a 42 that fit comfortably.

Order 2sizes up
I'm a 0-2 in US sizes, I had to send it back once, the second time I really needed a size larger but you guys didn't have it and I had Oktoberfest so I didn't have time, HOWEVER, this Drindl is Beautiful, thick quality fabric, I had to Crisco myself into this thing and not breath all night I was worried the zipper or fabric would pull it tare, nope, it hung in there. In other news I need to figure out whatbthe heck Europe's eat, so this thing fits comfortably by next year. Zickie Zacke Zickie Zacke Hoi Hoi Hoi!

Beautiful and high quality, but not made for short people
This dirndl is just as high quality as all the reviews say it is! I'm 5'0", 95lbs; I ordered a size 32 and it's a bit snug in the waist, but definitely wearable (I typically wear a size 0 US or smaller if available). My only complaint is that it seems to be made for a much taller woman. It's longer on me than it looks on the model (almost to my ankles) and the torso is also too long - I can easily fit 3 fingers between my shoulder and the shoulder strap at the top of the dress. It's not noticeable enough to make me want to return it though. I can probably get it tailored or just use safety pins for a better fit. For the price, you can't beat the quality! It even has a pocket. I'm very excited to wear it to the Texas Renaissance Festival Oktoberfest weekend in a few weeks!

Beautiful!! Just order 2 or 3 sizes up!
I get SO MANY compliments on this from my German Society friends! They are all jealous of the craftsmanship. Be sure to order up a few sizes from what you would regularly as it runs quite small. I went up two sizes, but three would have been even better. I'm 5'8" and at 140lbs a 40 is comfy; at 148lbs it's quite snug; normally I would have ordered a 38 but thankful for reviews that said it runs small. Wish I could justify buying more in different colors! It's truly gorgeous and I love every excuse to wear it.

Nice dirndl but not for me
I went with the advice from other reviews and bought a size up. However, it felt a little loose on me (without the apron tied tightly). I'm 5'2", so the hem falls below the knee.In my opinion, the color is much less vibrant in-person than in the description (I personally ended up returning mine because of this reason). Otherwise, the quality is pretty good for a costume piece.
