Amazing!
In the past month, my previously combination skin (shiny in the t-zone, normal to mild dry elsewhere) inexplicably became red, itchy, sensitive. Was it stress( I have a LOT) ? Worsening or a rosacea flare? Eczema? I have been waiting for Prequel's half &half moisturizer to be available & while scrolling through their products I saw this. It fit what I was experiencing PERFECTLY. Symptomatic Skin Solutions. From the first use, my skin has improved! The itchiness, flaking & bumps are GONE! Redness has greatly improved. I use a small amount once or twice a day on my whole face. Any left on my hands get massaged into my hands & cuticles & they are looking better too! I could not be happier with this product 😊

Only buy this if you want nourished, healthy, silky smooth skin!
I'll admit that I'm a huge fan of the Prequel brand, I already use multiple Prequel products in my routine because I trust their ingredients and their formulations, but when I saw that they were coming out with a 5% Ectoin cream for reactive skin, I was over the moon because I have eczema in my ears, ocular rosacea, and use tretinoin - so my skin barrier frequently needs support in multiple places. You need to use just the tiniest amount of this - it spreads and nourishes so well. After just a few uses the dry itchy places in my ears, and around my eyes and mouth felt calmed and looked less red and irritated. This also is great to lock in the moisture of my hydrating toners to smooth my fine lines and brighten my skin. This has amazing ingredients and I love that they share the percentage of Ectoin in this and that it's 5%! Based on the clinical research I've read, this is an excellent percentage for skin barrier support. Combined with Urea and Allantoin, this is really an amazingly skin-friendly formula. This cream is rich and nourishing, but isn't greasy or sticky. It sinks into my skin, absorbing like a dream and when I touch my skin after application it feels so soft and smooth. I've read the Q&A for this product on the Prequel site, and it's advised to use this more as a spot cream for reactive areas, but it's honestly hard not to use this as my primary moisturizer because it feels so amazing on my skin. This is fragrance free, cruelty free, and vegan. The tube and the box it comes in are recyclable. I'm completely in love with this product and will definitely be buying more in the future. The price of this is a little higher per oz than what I typically buy, but to me it's so worth it for the benefits I've seen in my skin and for the fact that a little of this truly does go a long way. If you have problem skin, I think you will love this too!

No scent, aborbed quickly, helps dry skin, a bit pricey
This "Prequel" cream contains Ectoin, Urea, hydroxyethyl, and allantoin, all ingredients aimed at hydration, moisturizing, and repair of dry or rough skin. It does not seem to have any scent that I can detect. The cream is kind of a pearly white. It is absorbed quickly into the skin, and seems to improve the appearance and soften dry skin. It is expensive compared to similar creams, but its claims and description seem to be science and research based.Neither my wife or I experienced a bad reaction from this cream. We don't have extremely dry skin right now, that usually occurs in the winter, but so far it seems to be helpful.

I am in love! Has done wonders for my skin in a short amount of time.
I have always wanted to try something from Prequel, and I'm really glad I started with this!! It's a small tube, but a little bit of product goes a long way. The texture is very thick; it feels like a hybrid between vaseline and a really hydrating, emollient cream. It's not sticky at all and has no fragrance. My skin is currently undergoing a lot of changes due to menopausal hormones, and I am breaking out like crazy but also dry. It's been hard to find something that softens and smooths my dry patches but also doesn't break me out. This is absolutely perfect for what I need right now! I've been using it for four days now, and my skin is BABY SOFT. It has done wonders for my rough dry patches, but I also haven't had any new breakouts since I started using it.Despite how thick and emollient it is, it seems to absorb well after a few minutes. It works great as a night cream, but also seems to work well under makeup, as long as you give it enough time to absorb. I'm only using light makeup right now as I try to heal my breakouts and dryness, but I think it would work well under a full face of makeup too. I'm seriously so impressed with this, and it will be an absolute repurchase for me once I run out.

Works great as a cuticle cream
This is a review for "Reactive Skin Solutions - Soothing, Hydrating Face Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin. Barrier Support Cream with 5% Ectoin, Urea, and Allantoin for Extreme Dryness, Calming and Renewal"✅️ - Two different forms of Urea - yes, please!❌️ - metal squeeze tube - works fine until product gets low and then the tube gets hard corners where it creases. Not a defect of the product, just an unsatisfying container from which to use this product. I really dislike this type of tube/container. Once it gets a hard bend in it, it is hard to smooth out and continue using. At the time of reviewing this product, I do not have any dry patches on my face or neck. I do have several hang nails and rather dry cuticles from (house) painting over the weekend. This product may not specifically be geared towards being used as a cuticle cream, but it works great for this purpose. The product goes on smoothly and absorbs easily and quickly without leaving a greasy residue. I detect no scent.

feels quite nice
feels very nice and I love the ingredients it has. my only gripe is that you really don't get a lot of product for the price, and it doesn't go very far on the skin/you need quite a bit to apply, so really you only want to use it on small patches of skin.
