Q: Are they uiaa certified?

I believe so. They have CE and KN rating so they are at least CE certified. I dont use them as lifeline due to still not 100% trusting in them, I use them for rigging limbs for ziplines or soft drops. Amazing feeling carabiners tho. Would recommend for rigging. For Lifeline go with Petzl or another known name brand.

Probably a question for the manufacturer. I can tell you that I use these to connect my deer stand climbing harness to my safety line. Last year in a pouring rain when I slipped, I didn't hit the ground! PTL.

I have a 100 lb Czech working line GSD that is incredible strong, and I bought this for a tie out in my front yard. Since he's broken a collar and a harness running at people walking their dogs past our yard, I decided to beef everything up. I can confirm this will not break with a GSD running full speed and trying to get to another dog. If you're using it as part of a leash, you'll lose an arm before this thing breaks.
