The album's production was primarily handled by DannyBoyStyles, The Weeknd himself and Jason DaHeala Quenneville, among others. Kiss Land received generally positive reviews from critics. The album debuted at #2 on the US Billboard 200.

Absolutely amazing. Weeknd delivers again. If you like any songs by this artist, you will love this album. Good for easy listening, getting faded, or just chilling. Beats are amazing, some are reminiscent of the '80s. Lyrics are genius, don't listen to the people who say that Abel is misogynistic. This is what his lifestyle is. Definitely worth the buy.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS ALBUM.. THOUGH EVER SONG IS AMAZING, BUT PROFESSIONAL IS THE BEST SONG IN MY OPINION.. THIS IS POSSIBLY THE BEST MUSIC ALBUM EVER AFTER TRILOGY(his first album). THE WEEKND IS RNB GOD.. XO TILL WE OVERDOSE..
