A very good product

Nice product, details of the metallic chess characters are pretty good. heavy pieces, bound to last long. wooden board also is good.down side- seller could have found a foam or thermocole mould to place the pieces together in the box. its open, keeps rattling unless sorted. i would recommend using a 2" foam sponge to keep the characters in place.- a cloth bag to enclose the box would give it a bit of extra protection. the box closed, exposes the chess board layout which could get scratched easily.

The media could not be loaded. Everything is fine but must improve quality of hinges, it cant open properly

The package was delivered on time and the product was intact. Pawns are really good and feel different to play with human figurines.2 major problems. (1) When we opened the chessboard, there was a foul smell, pawns were sticky as if they were polished or washed in some acid. We had to quickly wash all the pawns in hot soapy water before my son and his friends got a chance to use them. Now they are good as new. (2) It's not practical to carry them around. The pawns are too heavy and kids can get really hurt if they accidentally drop the board or pawns on their feet. It's best if you keep them in a stationary place.

The product comes covered in varnish.The pieces are not as good quality as pic and quite small.Was expecting better quality with the price.Also no option for return

It's worth to buy.Looks royal and elegant. It's heavy brass (3.5kilos) which gives solid appearance. Nowadays kids are addicted to ipad and other gadgets. I wanted to gift something to my son so that we both are engaged and we could keep him away from gadgets for sometime. This is one of the best solution that we could find. Just go for it eventhough price is bit high!But I had a worst experience with Amazon delivery. The delivery is delayed to last min which affected and created tension to catch my flight.

I would have given it a 3.5 stars if possibleThe product is very nice and it really seems great on a centre table. The problem is the storage of the piecesThey r charging 4k for the damn thing. The least they could have done is provide a little better padding on the inside and given a compartment for keeping the pieces.Even my 800 chess set of portable marble make has better storage compartment.The pieces themselves are heavy enough and it really does seem beautiful otherwise.
