Casper Custom-Cut Retractable Double/French Door Screen (White)

After my extensive, lengthy research on many different types of screens, I chose Casper’s custom retractable double door screens for my new condo’s large balcony. I saw many other screens priced much lower but most were not made in the US and looked flimsy. Since they are a custom-ordered product, being able to contact the company was very important to me. I have a small dog and a much bigger cat so the sturdiness of the product’s magnetic edging was paramount. After speaking with the company and a gentleman there who assured me that the seal is quite tight when closed and my pets couldn’t push through, I placed my order. I’m absolutely thrilled with the finished product which was an exact fit after an easy installation. On the first day, my dog wasn’t aware they were closed and jumped right into the screen, bouncing off! The screen was fine with no change at all (so was my baby). I know that they are an investment but the excellent quality and customer service are totally worth it! I highly recommend Casper’s screens and have already referred them to a neighbor.

I purchased this on May 27, 2022. Now April 15 2023. The screen will not roll back into the frame. I have tried cleaning the track top and bottom. The screen comes out of the track top and bottom. It did work last summer, but now the screen just will not roll in. Not sure if it is a weak or broken spring. I side seems to be ok, slow but will return. If the company will contact me for a solution I would try anything.

One of the plastic tabs on the end was broken upon arrival. We flipped things around and made it work because getting the issue resolved any other way seemed like too big of a hassle.Installation really takes two people and at least one person who is good with tools and figuring things out because the installation directions are worthless.It took us about 30 minutes to get it installed. It’s a pretty cool set up and just what we needed to let the fresh air in and keep the cats from getting out.

Could not be happier with the outcome after ordering our double screen for our bedroom French doors. I was bummed thinking that we wouldn’t get to take advantage of the nice weather by leaving the French doors open this summer since it would be inviting all of the bugs in the house. It was a simple step to measure the opening and order the screen. Shipping was fast and installation was easy. They screen looks outstanding and is very secure and easy to open and close. Again, extremely happy with this purchase.

Not a lot of options out there but this is the one one I settled onFirst of all the price for what you get is deplorable but then again I bought it so the market is there and dictates what people are willing to paying so I don’t blame them for the gougeIt was very easy to install and took maybe 30 minutesLooks nice but is awkward to open with one hand if you are carrying a drink or plateOnce you break the magnetic hold it will blast open startling the person opening it but also anyone around, dogs and cats run scared to deathI damaged one of my screen pieces while installing it, a small but important nylon guide on the bottom while trying to force it in placeMy fault just pushed to hard and snapCalled a day after installing told them I had damaged a piece and asked if I could buy a couple moreThey told me (very nicely) oh we don’t have or sell any spare parts for these. just take the one out of the top and put it on the bottom!!!So I took the one out of the top and promptly broke it trying to get it in the bottom againSo that’s my story and I probably would not buy this one againWhen people comment on it most all are favorably until I tell them what it cost and all have responded you got to be kiddingI just laughed and say yeah kind of crazy huhGood conversation starter thoughGood luck searching it may be the best thing out there I really don’t knowWhat I do know is that if they don’t stock parts they at the very least could direct you to a site to buy them

This is a fantastic product , that works perfectly . The magnets close the screen tightly top to bottom . Shipping was super fast . Highly recommend

Screens won't stay in tracks, talked to the company many times. I keep getting the run around.Was told all orders are custom made and there are NO RETURNS and NO REFUNDS.Customer service is "watch the YouTube videos"The screen rolls are made from cheap plastic, the screens do not stay in the tracks.Don't buy these screens, you'll be sorry if you do, and out a whole lot of money.

No directions in box , was able to watch a video on line but did not cover everything..in the end it looks and works good
