Escape to Christmas Past: A Colouring-Book Adventure

The book isn't a big colouring book like the special editions or other colouring books. However, I found the size to be perfect for carrying it on a flight, or for using in small desk spaces at home (7.5 inches x 7.5 inches). Since it is small, it doesn't take too long to complete one page, and is not daunting for beginners. I chose the book based on the Christmas theme, and looked through the videos on youtube, to see if the pictures were too detailed, and had a good variety- it did!The only difficulty was in colouring the section near the spine of the book.

Excellent, This book is fantastic. Paper quality is very good, markers don't bleed through. It has almost every object one would love to colour like birds, trees, flowers, gifts, ghosts, ornaments , ship and much more.Must buy item. Don't think twice. Go for it.

Beautifully illustrated and the quality of the paper used is way way better than the paper within the range of Johanna Basford books. Mightily impressed!

Excellent colouring book

The book has really lovely vintage-style illustrations and is based on A Christmas Carol. The illustrations have a variety of themes to colour and won't get boring. The paper is decently thick but it's not as easy to blend or layer on it. That said, it's not a book for complete beginners as it can get a little daunting for them. However, there are several good tutorials on YouTube for pages from this book. It's a pleasure to flip through this beautiful book even if you end up colouring only a few pages. However, I received an old copy that had not been stored well and had yellowing pages, especially near the edges. I really wish books were stored better at the storage facilities, as this seems to be a trend these days. Five star rating for the illustrations, and 0 stars for the condition of the pages.
