ChemspecInk Exit - Powerful Water-Based Ink Removal Solution - 1 Quart

I brought my car to a detailer, and was told they wouldn't be able to remove this ink on the cloth seat, which was a result of a leaking pen. The ink had dried as it had stayed there for months. I tried a couple different products including hair spray, but they were only able to remove the very top layer of the ink stain. Using Ink Exit, I was able to remove the ink almost entirely, by scrubbing, wet vacuuming, re-applying, and repeating multiple times.

I was really hoping this would be the miracle product that I had read about, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case for me. These are blue ink pen stains. I attempted to clean them first with solvent/carpet shampoo, which lifted the stains a little but spread them out, too. This Ink Exit product did nothing to remove these. It didn’t even lighten them (see pics) - there was no hint of blue residue on the white cleaning towels I used to soak up the liquid/water. Perhaps this product works better if the stain hasn’t been touched with any other cleaning products, but this was not the solution for my problem.

This stuff really works for ink stains on carpet from printer ink cartridge.

Does not do anything for carpet stains, can not return

So the black lab puppy ate a ball point pen on my oriental carpet. I tried several things but it just kept spreading around. I tried Ink Exit and look. Ink gone. Carpet still wet but no blue. The previous treatments did not affect its performance. The spots covered about a 2x2 foot area. A real winner. It looks like it is spreading but I used my spot bot and a rubber glove to push the solution into rug and it all came out! I watched the video about it on YouTube. Happy spot removal.
