Fits exactly correct

I bought this before my Big Joe arrived not knowing it had one., I sent it back but use the one that came with my Big Joe quite a bit quit often.

I use this product whenever I use the heat deflectors in my Kamado Joe Classic 2. It allow the heat deflector plates to be placed close to the coals. If you have the Divide and Conquer system this product is a must have.

I ordered this rack along with one other internal part for our Kamado Big Joe. Both are advertised as being made from 304 stainless steel. The other part arrived and is indeed made from 300 series stainless steel. This rack, however, is not made from 304SS as advertised and printed on the package. It is chrome plated steel. I know this because I work with stainless steel every day and tested the material two different ways when I noticed it looked different than the second part.I contacted Kamado and after a week they responded saying the material is as advertised. I took exception to this blanket statement, but they blew me off, refusing to correspond with me further other than saying I can return it if I don't like it.I ordered this part because my first one has rusted out and requires replacement. I was hoping a new 304SS part would last longer. Unfortunately, this appears to be the same as the previous part and I fully expect it to rust out as well. I chose not to return the part because I need something to replace the one I have that is falling apart so I can continue to use my Big Joe. I'm pretty disappointed with Kamado's attitude and unwillingness to engage. It's almost like they know there is an issue but refuse to admit it.

I bought this as a replacement for my last one. It broke because the weld points are thin. This one also has thin weld points and will probably fail but what choice do i have?
