Cute functional palette for plein-air or small living spaces. Quality paints
This is my favorite watercolor set. I am still a beginner, and the Koi paints are of decent enough quality to allow me to learn and practice new techniques. They do crack when drying, but they activate quickly. I love the compact design and the flexibility with the removable palette. Depending on my setup, I can position the palette around the paint pans in three different ways, and I think that's neat. The paint pans themselves are labeled by their number, which makes it easier for me to learn and remember the colors as a beginner. The waterbrush is of high quality and superior to others I have purchased. The brush is compact and fits in the palette. Comes with two sponge areas, which also adds to the portability if you want to paint on the go for a bit of plain-air (or live in a small studio like me, where space is a premium!) Very easy to use and set up, excellent value for your money, and convenience! I will buy again for myself and as gifts for others!

Great Paint Quality and Compact Size
I love how portable and affordable this Koi watercolor set is. The paint quality is excellent, making it perfect for beginners or anyone looking for a compact travel kit. As someone getting back into painting with limited time, this set is ideal for creating my mini paintings. However, I found myself wanting more colors, so I ordered another travel kit with a different range of colours. Purchasing it here was also more cost-effective than buying it at a craft store.

Nice paint; water brush is useless
The paints are alright, and the palette itself is a great travel size. However, the water brush is defective. It won't even screw together. Disappointing.
