This fake blood is honestly too good at being blood. It looks like real blood, it feels like real blood, and it's as hard to clean up if you spill it as real blood. Seriously, the room I was preparing the costume in looked like a crime scene for a minute!

Not blood but pretty darn close....
I was making some new shower curtains because I love the blood stained ones year round but manufactures make them thinner every season. So I had to make my own.I had some bottle or bucket of stuff from a while back in fact is the biggest lightest blurred stain on the curtains. I have used it for other things like cotton and it did well enough but not only was it way to thin for this .... it looked like it had fruit punch as been spilled on it.Decided to give this a go because.... well the name made me think of a morbid pun filled commercials. After running a bunch of jokes everyone felt horrid for laughing at past my friends and family I gave this a try.It is pretty thick, flows well, splatters runs and holds well. These house curtains are polyester by the way (I coated them with water repentant after they dried totally). It starts off bright red and if left out dries to a light red brown.I did not have much issue with the clean up. Did not stain my skin much or for to long. I love it. Would buy again.

Best Stage Blood I've seen in a LONG time!
This is some of the best stage blood I've ever used, and, believe me, over the last 45 years I've tried a LOT! It looks like fresh blood, as in, as red as fresh blood. It has the perfect thickness and even drips like real blood. Hell, it even dries like real blood, although it doesn't turn brown like real blood does. (If this sounds a little ghoulish, I've been doing theatrical make-up and making blood props for a very long time.) And you get a hell of a lot for the price! It has the standard down sides that pretty much any stage blood will have--it will stain your clothes, and will stain your skin if left on too long. I had no problem washing it off, but I've read some comments that it stained the skin pretty badly. I haven't had that experience.Although it has nothing in it that would be dangerous to ingest, I would use it sparingly near the mouth. If you want something safe to use in the mouth, make your own out of maple syrup and food coloring. All in all, I'm very happy with this stage blood. I'd say that it has become my go-to blood for prop knives, wounds, etc.

Fairly realistic, only a bit too light in color
This is a great fake blood for costumes and cosplays, especially for the price, but it's a bit lighter in color than real blood, and dries brighter as well. However, for makeup, and on darker clothing, it looks amazing. I used it for a creepypasta Halloween costume and it worked very well for the makeup, and was easy to splash and paint on my clothes, however the lighter clothing didn't look quite as realistic. Overall, though, this is a good quality product for the price, especially for Halloween, since it is a large container.

Worked great for me. More detail in review.
Very realistic. When wet it looks like real wet blood & when dry it looks like real dry blood. If you're looking for something that dries with a wet look this is not it.It takes a long time to dry if you use a lot. When dry you can touch things without getting fake blood on them, but if it gets wet AT ALL do NOT touch anything that you don't want to get red smudges on. It does wash off easily with water for the most part. It stains your skin a little bit, but that comes off after a few washes. It could totally be used as red skin dye by smearing it on, letting it sit & then rinsing off the excess.I soaked part of a white dress in the blood & splattered blood on the rest of the dress for a costume. Afterward I covered the dress in stain remover & washed it in cold water with a TON of bleach (which may or may not have been overkill). All of the splatters came out completely & even the soaked part of the dress was only left with a teeny tiny discoloration.

Good fake blood for the price
Consistency and color was good but honestly could have been thicker

Amazing so fun!
First all I’m not sure if I had more fun putting it on or wearing it! It worked so well and was the perfect consistency. It didn’t have any weird smell and the amount in the bottle it enough for over 3 Victims! I am eager to find other bloody costumes just so I can use this again!!P.S. best way to apply is to us a basting brush (silicone) dip and whip so real looking!

Don't waste your money
Doesn't look remotely real. Very very watery. Dries orange-red! Awful!
