The product has an English plug
The product has an English plug. So, you have nothing to do with these plug-in countries outside of England. This is not to be seen if you buy the product here. Consequence: I had to buy a separate adapter that belongs to it again. So how to take this into account..Furthermore, it is a great product.

Loses sync
Run speediest back to back on a 5Gbe RJ45 to Unifi 1m DAC cable to UDM Pro SE. It works at first, and then loses sync eventually, and have to power cycle the device. Not very good. It doesn't appear to be heat, but I can't tell for sure. The chassis doesn't get hot.

Loses sync regularly.
After a month of use the device has to be restarted every other day, sometimes more often. I don’t recommend this item.

It's very good but could use some minor improvements...
I just bought and tested this device. It's very good for what I need it for (10 Gb/s fiber - 10 Gb/s copper). This works exactly as advertised...some small things that it could use for improvement:1. It needs lights for the fiber (to show connectivity has been established)2. It would be useful to have an on/off switch. Currently you plug it in and it is powered on...not a big deal but just a nice to have3. The LED area. Power=Green (which when you plug it in, it has power because no on/off switch)b. RJ45 connector:Orange = 1G/10G (you don't know if you have 10 or 1 Gb/s) look on device connected to RJ45Green for 5G/2.5G/100 M connection on the RJ45*no lights for the fiber connection (this would be a pain if you set this up 300-400 meters away)Other than that, this works perfectly. I plugged in a 10GTek AXS13-192-10 SFP+ optical transceiver into the SFP+ port. It worked perfectly. My Netgear XS716T 10Gb/s switch also has the same transceivers and I could see the 10G connection lights on my switch.Small, compact, and works well for only 192.00 USD (that's a good price...others were well over 400 USD)--update 2020-08-17 : I wanted a 10 Gb/s Ethernet connection from 1 floor to another but for now just wanted to use a 1 Gb/s (Netgear GS308E stand-alone switch). It should be able to work with a simple but it seems like there is a compatibility issue. I'm not sure if the device auto-negotiates down to 1 Gb/s ethernet or my switch is just freaking out because it doesn't know what 10gb/s or 5 gb/s is...I boxed it for now and just used another Netgear XS508M switch with SFP+ fiber.

does not work with google fiber 2GBPS AND UDM PRO
Looking for a way to Connect Google fiber 2Gbps fiber to my UDM Pro router without using the Google router thought that this may do it but it didn't work.
