Perfect Extension Cord for Atari 5200 Controllers!
If you are a legacy gamer with an Atari 5200 first I want to say that I feel your pain and second if you would like to solve the problem of the absurdly short 5200 controller cables this is your ideal solution. There is no lag when using the cable and all functions are intact. I would point out that when you connect your 5200 controller to this extension, the metal clip at the end of the extension will shear off the little plastic tab on the outside of your Atari controller's plug, which is there to help secure it to the console when plugged directly into it. I did test mine to see if it would hold fast to the console after shearing off that tab and indeed it still does, so for me it's not a problem but you should know what to expect if you purchase this cable. It takes a bit of effort to get the male end of the controller cable into the female end of the extension cable, so you may need help if it's too difficult for you to connect yourself. Once it's connected it works like a charm.

Cheap and did the job!
Bought this cable to pull apart and splice into a machine at our printing company whose DB15 connector was ripped off by accident. Opening the cable up was a pain - it was heavily shielded (a good thing) and the quality overall seems to be quite high. At 10ft it was long enough for our needs, and the cable was certainly quite inexpensive. Recommended.

Problem-Free, Reliable
Using this cable for a remote counting face for a Ka-band target speed radar device. Works with no issues, and thick cable seems to be reliable long-term.

Perfect for M-Audio Omni I/O Breakout Box
I have a sound card with an audio breakout box that I use for my home studio, but the original cable that it comes with is only three feet long. Since this is a legacy product, the company no longer makes the breakout cables at all, including the ones in longer sizes. I was afraid that this product might not be internally wired the same as the original cable, but I decided to give it a chance. It fits and works absolutely perfectly. In the picture included, you can see the new cable in the back left.

TRY IT-YOU'LL LIKE IT
great product: My shop auto diagnostic tool uses this cable and the replacement dealer wanted 80.00 for this cable. I got it for $8.00 on Amazon and it was in my hands in 3 days: and it worked perfectly.

cable quality seems good and the length is just what I needed. The price is good for what I received.

WORKED AS INTENDED
I own a BOSE Acoustmas 5 and re-organized our living room. Because of this, i had to move our Subwoofer to another area of the living room. This caused the ribbon cable to now be too short. I ordered the DB15 serial extension cable to give me that extra 10 feet that i needed to connect the ribbon cable. I was hesitant at first, wasn't sure it was going to work but to my surprise, it worked beautifully. I'm enjoying my sound system once more.
