This product works absolute magic, I dry and straighten my hair every single morning and had very deep brown hair prior to using this. Now my hair color is much closer to a lighter blonde (somewhere between generic blonde and ash blonde). I would absolutely recommend, it gives a lot of flexibility in your ability to decide how often, how much, and where you apply the product, after awhile I was mainly using it to softly lighten up my roots.I would also highly suggest using a purple toner in addition to keep the color looking natural rather that orange-y yellow.

I’ve been amazed by this product. I had not had my highlights done since October (usually 4-5 months or so is my timeframe in between) which meant right as I needed it done, I couldn’t go. I tried a box job just to make things blend that turned my hair more orange than anything, then I box jobbed a metallic pink semi-permanent just for fun. Either way, by the time I discovered this product, I had so many colors running through my hair I was almost hesitant to try it, but it worked amazingly well. I think I could even skip the salon indefinitely. It’s only going to work on dark blonde to very light brown natural hair, but if you are of such, it is definitely worth giving it a try.

My hair was naturally blonde until my 30's. I spent most of my days outside gardening and the sun took care of the coloring. Then I started to "chemically enhance" my color; long trips to the colorist to have several different colors highlights added.I started using this just to keep up with the gray roots. My stylist was impressed with the results. It is nothing like my natural hair in my youth or like or the professional highlights -- so my colorist isn't too worried. The color is semi-uniform in a good way. It looks natural and is easy to keep up. (my colorist agrees)As needed, I spray the darker areas after I wash and condition my hair. The transition is slow. Which is a big plus! This is not an overnight dramatic change, but a slow process.My hair is long now and eventually I will go see my colorist to add some dimension to my hair color. In the meantime -- this keeps me blonde

I never write reviews. but this stuff is magic. When I was young I was a natural blonde. and now that my hair has darkened I enjoy getting a balayage about twice a year. but this stuff might make it easier for me to do that less. it lightened up instantly, especially with a little help from my hair diffuser. 10/10.and a little purple toning shampoo might help with any brassiness.

I have very thin hair. It works to blonden it, but also damages it. If I use rarely, like once every other month, I think I’m ok. I used once a week or more for 3x once and it killed my hair - unbrushable because so dry.Works best to lighten if you use something hot after application, like hair dryer.

I was hesitant to try based on the reviews but I have found it works good for me. I wonder if some folks are using it as an alternative to dying their hair and therefore using too much or too often? I have always had sandy blonde hair and as the gray is coming in, my hair is looking more like dark dirty blonde. Every 7-10 days, I spray lightly over my whole head (I'm a guy with short hair) and rub in slightly. I then go outside until it drys. Then I take a shower and wash & condition my hair. One time I didn't shower and instead got my hair wet in the pool several times. My hair did feel dry and coarse that time. It just brightens up the dirty part and does not change the gray.

I have been completely in love with this product since I was told about it 3 years ago. My hair is naturally very dark brown, I highlight but I’m a mom with young kids and can’t get to the salon often enough to take care of those dark roots. Started spraying this on my roots after every shower and LIFE CHANGING! My last highlight appointment was Nov. 19th and today is May 19th. That 6mo and you can’t even see my roots. I don’t usually take time to write reviews but this stuff is amazing! It was especially great during that stage of COVID when salons were closed, I didn’t have those dark roots showing through on my zoom meetings!

I've been using this product since 2015, and I love it!! I use it once every two weeks, and I don't ever apply any other dye to my hair. It's all I need, and it works like a charm! My hair isn't damaged from it. I've been able to grow my hair down to the middle of my back without any breakage. If you apply it as it's supposed to be applied, it'll be just fine.
