A fantastic baby monitor!
The media could not be loaded. My Fiancée and I bought the HB6550 baby monitor to replace our older, more basic one. There were a few reasons we chose this one:1. The camera is moveable via the monitor and looked like it had a good range of motion.2. It doesn't have any smart connections - we didn’t want or need them.3. The monitor screen and buttons were bigger and seemed better.4. Has the capacity to connect more than 1 camera because we need to in the future.5. The menus looked intuitive and easy to navigate.Having used it for a couple of weeks now, we have some thoughts, both good and bad:For the pros:1. We wish we had bought this in the first place and are glad we got it. While it cost about 3 times as much as our old one, it's an upgrade in every way to our old one and worth every penny.2. Being able to move the camera is worth the cost alone. We don't have to line up the camera exactly where we want it. If the subject moves out of frame or we need to adjust the camera position, we can do it remotely in seconds.3. We're glad it doesn't have any "smart" connectivity. We don't like or need any of it. There are examples of "smart" cameras/monitors being turned into subscriptions or being unusable after buying and that wouldn't have been the case if they were like this!4. The large screen is clear, bright and excellent to view from a distance.5. The detail from the camera is very good6. The old monitor we had suffered from a delay and quite a lot of motion blur. This one is basically lag and blur free.7. This monitor has a built in kickstand and antenna. The kickstand works well. Both parts fold away seamlessly into the monitor which keeps it clean and tidy looking.8. We have the camera attached to the wall about 2 meters away from the cot. The audio pickup and sensitivity is better than the previous monitor we had.9. When moving the camera, it sounds almost silent so it shouldn't wake up/disturb anyone nearby.10. The speed of the camera moving is fine; its slow enough to be precise but fast enough to not feel sluggish.11. The camera does have a good range of motion and we can move it to see anywhere in the room.12. The wall mounting is easy to attach with 2 screws. Once it's in place, the camera easily locks/unlocks in place with a simple twist.13. So the screen light doesn't disturb us sleeping, you can press the on/off button to turn just the monitor screen off. The audio stays on, so you can still hear. We use this function every night. It takes less than a second to come back on so it's basically instant.14. It has lights on the top of the monitor that turn on when it picks up audio, so if you're hard of hearing or other noise is interfering, you can still visibly see when sound is happening. It's a small feature but it's worked well for us to just catch our eye and make sure we know.15. Both the camera and monitor have a small footprint and are stable when setup, so they can be put in lots of places without needing a lot of space.16. The menu is clear and easy to navigate. I didn't even look at the menu and I found it intuitive enough to set up.17. The temperature sensor is accurate enough compared to another thermometer we have in the same room. It's a nice feature if you don't already have one, but it's not a deal-breaker.18. There are 8 languages to choose from - again, nice to have but not relevant to us.19. There is a zoom function for the camera. It's a digital zoom, so while it does magnify the image, it also magnifies all the noise/grain of the original image. It's not something we use as we have ours set up close enough but it does the job well enough.20. You can talk through the monitor. We don't use it but the sound quality is good enough and doesn’t sound distorted.21. You can also play lullabies through it. We don't ever use this but it might be good for some families. There are 8 tunes and the sound quality seems good enough.22. It takes 6-7 seconds to turn it on and off from first pressing the button to seeing the image on the monitor. It's fine and we haven't ever felt like it was slow.23. We live in a solid brick house and haven't found signal to be an issue, regardless of which room we have it in. A very large house or taking it into a large garden might be different, but our medium-size home has been fine.24. The battery life is better than our old one and seems fine. We have our monitor plugged in most of the time but I have cooked meals and even forgotten to plug it back in without it draining. It has an alarm to warn you when its low on battery just in case.25. The monitor charging cable is about 2 meters long, which is fine for us. If it was any longer, it would probably be bulky and any shorter wouldn't be that usable. For the cons:1. The biggest issue we had was that the wall mounting bracket and fixing kit was missing from the box. It was definitely new, so it must have been missed at the factory. On the plus side, the seller replied back less than 24 hours later and sent out a new kit without a fuss.2. The biggest issue in daily use is the monitor screen. It's a narrow view where it's hard to see if it's angled too high or too low. Even sinking into a chair or sitting up straighter can cause the image to look too light or too dark. It's not a deal-breaker but it’s a shame the monitor screen isn't better!3. Unless there is a lot of light where the camera is, the image seems to resort to infrared. Even in daylight, it's stayed in the black and white infrared view. It's fine as the image is nice and clear but it's still annoying.4. The power cables for both the monitor and camera aren't USB. I'm not sure if they're propriety but they should really be USB nowadays. They also don't seem that durable.5. An option to turn off the charging and audio lights when the screen is off would have been nice as they still emit quite a lot of light in a dark room.6. It's only available in white. For us that was fine but for other people, they might want a different colour.7. You can't decline the camera a lot. If you have it set up overlooking something, you may need to wedge it at angle to get to look downward enough. Before we had it attached to our wall, it’s what we did.8. An option in the camera to change the turning speed of the camera would be nice, but isn't a big deal.Overall, we are very happy with this camera and monitor. We should've just bought this in the first place - but you live and learn. We would recommend it to anyone asking about one. It's a night-and-day upgrade over the old one and does everything we want it to without any unnecessary "features". I can't speak to the longevity of it but the build quality seems good. Although we were missing the wall bracket and fixing kit, the seller was brilliant and they rectified our issue quickly, politely and efficiently.

Excellent value for money!
The media could not be loaded. Delivery came late at night so just propped at the foot of the bed for now as baby isn't too mobile yet so that has limited camera movement in the video so it doesnt fall. This product was brought to replace my standard Boifun camera, there was no problem but I couldn't pan and tilt it unlike this one. I took a risk as I'd never used Hellobaby before so I went off reviews. It's great. It has exactly what I needed. The eco function is great and turns the monitor onto stabdby until baby makes a noise and the sensitivity level can be adjusted this still works despite the Toniebox or radio playing in the background. The battery life is excellent and the night vision is good enough. The cameras range of movement is excellent too, it is nearly 360. I like the fact you can set timers and change the volume from the menu as I always seem to press the wrong buttons lol and the menu is easy to navigate. The only thing I'd improve is the timer function as feeding timers have preset times, I was hoping to set one at 8am a bit like an alarm. However, I couldn't count this a negative as the value for money is excellent. I paid £60 with it being on offer, unsure as to whether I'd pay the full amount or just buy a refurbished branded camera but I cannot find a fault at all with this camera and from reading others reviews it seems to be reliable unlike other populor branded caneras *cough* Vt%ch *cough* and I couldn't hack Motorollas price tag. It is a low cost, secure solution.

Reliable and Feature-Rich Baby Monitor: Clear Dual Screens, Excellent Range, and Great Quality
I recently purchased the HelloBaby Baby Monitor with two cameras, and I have been incredibly impressed with its performance. The overall quality of the monitor is excellent — the display is sharp, and the build feels sturdy and reliable. One of the standout features for me is the 5-inch split-screen, which allows me to monitor both of my little ones simultaneously without needing to switch between cameras. This feature has made a big difference in keeping an eye on both rooms with ease. The monitor has a fantastic range of up to 1000ft, which gives me peace of mind while moving around the house. I can go about my day without worrying about losing connection, even when I'm in a different room. The night vision is also great, ensuring clear visibility even in low light conditions.Another bonus is the two-way audio, which allows me to talk to my baby and reassure them when needed. Plus, the 8 lullabies are a nice touch for soothing my child to sleep.Overall, the HelloBaby Baby Monitor is a solid, reliable choice with impressive range, clear dual-screen functionality, and excellent sound and video quality. Highly recommend it to any parent looking for a non-WiFi baby monitor with great features!

Fantastic baby monitor
Great quality baby monitor, I chose this particular model as I liked the fact it had no WiFi connection. Really quick and easy to set up also.● The monitor screen is a great size and image is clear and bright.●Nice big buttons to the side of the screen.● The pan and tilt is a great feature expecially as my little one moves around alot so I can easily move the camera around to see her.● Night vision is really good and can see baby clearly.● Battery life is long lasting so no need to charge it every day.● Like the fact you can connect additional camera's and have them both on the screen at the same time.● The menu is easy to navigate and nicely layed out.● You can adjust the sound and also lights up if child is making a noise.Overall really happy with my purchase and would highly recommended.

Budget friendly nursery camera
Fab nursery camera for a good price! Screen is pretty big and a good picture quality. I can see my baby’s chest rising even on the night mode! Big feature for me was the fact is doesn’t require WiFi! It took 2 minutes to set up and is easy to use. Well worth the money!
