Nice light-weight gloves
Essentials and Construction:These gloves have a sedate cosmetic design of grey material, lighter grey branding and patterning, and black accents. The palm is made from a fairly tough fabric material inlaid with a cross hatch pattern of gripping material. Grip is very positive thanks to these grippies. A "pad" of grippy material is present at the base of the index finger. The thumb is backed with a small microfiber cloth. This feature is a godsend when wearing goggles, and they get fogged or dirty while you're riding! The material between the thumb and forefinger is a similar relatively touch fabric as the palm, just without grippies on it. The material then wraps around all four fingers to help reinforce them. The webbing between the fingers is a fine and light weight stretchy material. Having owned similar gloves for many years before these, it wears reasonably well, but offers no protection from prickly plants or similar. The middle and ring fingers have small tabs on the insides of them to help you take the gloves off when you're done with them. I find this a very, very slight inconvenience, as you can definitely feel them there while gripping something, but they're also easy to ignore, so no points lost here. I also can see why they didn't put it on the back. The back of the hand is a very light weight and elastic fabric material. It looks like it provides moisture wicking properties, and I'm sure this will be a godsend on those torturously hot Florida afternoons. The gloves are held on with a velcro strap at the wrist, as is traditional for this style. It is secure and convenient, and I don't feel like they're going to come off even while pounding trail on my mountain bike.My Two Cents:I literally just received these today, so can't weigh in on durability yet, but they look reasonably tough, and fared well on my first few rides. The only part of them I have even the first second thought about is the light weight backing, and even then, this isn't a wear surface on the glove, so I doubt it'll be a significant issue over the years.Overall, a very positive first impression, and I hope to keep these in my stash of cycling stuff for a very long time to come.

I bought them to wear after carpal tunnel surgery, to give scar a little protection
They are thin, so they suit my purpose; just giving a little coverage and cushioning for the tender scar. I do also use a large bandaid for more cushioning. I looked at the bike gloves at local Walmart, but they were a little too thick and constrictive for my needs. These are good for my purposes.

Cheap thin material. No padding to protect hands.
The style is nice but the material and padding is very thin and not protective. I was looking for something that would have more shock absorbing padding. This one had little to nothing on the palms. Unhappy with purchase.

Comfortable with minimal padding but fadedfaded
The gloves fit comfortably but run a little large. I was looking for less padding than my current gloves so the minimal padding was acceptable. They have good grip. The complaint I have is that they faded from a fantastic bright blue to a pale washed out blue after just a couple of days of motorcycle riding. Overall still happy with them.

These gloves have absolutely no padding and run very small
I rarely write reviews for the products that I purchase through Amazon as most of them are as described and fit/function well enough. I had to take a few minutes to let other buyers know that these gloves run very small. I ordered a men's large and they didn't come close to fitting. My wife tried them on and they fit her small hands OK. The other issue with the gloves is that there is absolutely no padding in them at all. You'd be wise to make another choice.

More than one use for gloves.
I am using the gloves as a protection for my hands while doing pool exercise routine. The pool is a poured cement pool that is not entirely a smooth surface while doing exercise. It is working quite well and will know more as the exercises proceed.

Cheaper than they look
What I liked was the price, but this one is proof that you get what you pay for. The 'shock-absorbing pad' looks like a joke especially when compared to the other two pairs of cycling gloves I bought on Amazon. It is very thin by comparison and doesn't look like it will provide substantial shock-absorption. I bought them for my hubby, and since he didn't really care, he'll keep them.

Ready to start new adventure.
The colors were spot on, the padding in the palms are exactly what I need.
