Ruffwear, Front Range Dog Harness, Reflective and Padded Harness for Training and Everyday, Red Sumac, X-Small

I have bought so many harnesses for my two 75 lb pit bulls and they are either too small, didnt fit right or they could back of them. But these Ruffwear Front Range harnesses are just right. I bought the l-xl sixe and was able to extend the straps around the neck and chest to make a perfect fit. The padding is in all the right places to make the fit more comfortable, and no chafing of their skin. I tried using the front clip for one of the dogs leashes but she is such an extreme puller, it didnt work very well, but worked fine on the other dog. Harnesses seem very strong and well made. Love the assortment of colors. Just took the girls out and we all had a nice walk.

So I googled best harnesses and this was the one I liked the most. My wife and I love this harness, very adjustable, we have a little chi mix and I've never found one that we liked very much. This is completely adjustable and works great to secure our little dog.

While I love this harness and think it not only looks nice but feel sturdy and well made, it just doesn't work for my mini schnauzer. I followed size chart for the rib cage and got an XS for my mini schnauzer who has a 18" chest and it fits well in that area, it's far too big even on the smallest setting around the neck. I can fit both hands in it with how much room their is. He is small for a mini schnauzer at only 15lbs but I was surprised at how it didn't fit properly. And sadly the XXS would be too small for him even though it would probably fit the neck area well.Disappointed this didn't work out for us but I definitely can see why it has great reviews so regardless of my review I would still give it a go!

Have had this harness for a few weeks for a 6 month old Golden Retriever pup. Directions for sizing were not too helpful and I had to return a small for a medium. So far, this fits well and he has room to grow. It's fairly sturdy and easy to put on, but the clips are a little hard to unclip when taking it off. Pup seems to be comfortable wearing it and the front attachment is helping a bit with his pulling when we are walking.

This harness fits well using the measurements listed. We have used it for around 2 years and it is in near perfect condition! Only damage is from my dog chewing part of one of the straps off; thankfully it is still usable since with was only the end of the strap. It was getting really dirty so I machine washed it and it looks nearly brand new! My dog has been rough on harnesses in the past but this one has stood the test of time for sure. Would recommend!

We have used this type of harness before. We wanted a back up for the one we have. We find it comfortable for the dog, it doesn't bother him.

I have a 10-month old, 65-lb puppy with a lot of power in her. I've had issues with other harnesses digging into her, not holding up, or sizing being off. This harness was recommended by a new trainer prior to starting classes with her. I was sceptical of buying something online, but am very impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of the harness. It is nice quality material, well-sewn and reinforced, hardware is sturdy, yet it is breathable for my heavy-coated girl to be comfortable. The L/XL was fully adjustable and fit fine. The instructions were simple (quick scan on the QR code took me right to the video). Now the rest is up to me and Misty to get her training finished!

Bought this to replace previous harnesses for my golden. She was measured and it indicated medium barely . I questioned it but was worried if I sized up it would be too loose and slip . She is a 68 pound thin bodied english cream golden retriever . When I received it I was happy to put it on her and see it fit like a glove on her ! Very secure and yes much more difficult of a harness to buckle and tighten or loosen but very secure ! We have not taken her on long walks yet but it is very stiff so I see it being the good on control and great for security !As long as you can get right fit, it is a great harness! Should work well for a little dog with tracheal issues too since I barely tightened the front section and it didn’t seem to pressure on her neck at all! It was good enough she stopped in her tracks when I grabbed the back hook .

Se avete cani a pelo lungo come il mio occorre giusto controllare che, nell'allacciare la pettorina, i peli non finiscano con l'incastrarsi nella fibbia. Per il resto basta passare la mano sotto la pettorina per sistemare un po' i peli.🔸Le imbottiture della pettorina paiono molto buone: mi fa sperare che, anche a lungo termine, non daranno problemi al mio cane; non è come altre pettorine in cui sembra d'insaccare a mo' di arrosto il proprio cane con un nastro di nylon attorno al collo/petto. Per ora il mio cane non ha ancora dato alcun segno di fastidio indossando la pettorina.---- ✋✋✋----🔸In teoria la pettorina dovrebbe avere delle parti che si illuminano al buio: nel mio caso, nelle uscite notturne riflette più luce il mio cane che la pettorina...Non so se è un difetto solo del mio articolo o è proprio una proprietà fallace della pettorina,però considerando la sua bontà, i tanti altri pregi che ha, penso che potrò felicemente continuare a vivere senza la segnaletica notturna.Confermo le 5 stelle, diciamo "5 meno".---- EXTRA ----🔸Richiedete la consegna con imballo aggiuntivo a nascondere il contenuto del vostro ordine.Arriva imballato, ahimè, come molti di questi articoli per animali, con un semplicemente pezzo di cartone su cui viene attaccato l'articolo con delle fascette.Cosa che può andare benissimo acquistando l'articolo in un negozio fisico: si controlla che la pettorina è integra, te lo mettono dentro una busta, si paga e poi via a casa.Acquistando su Amazon in questi casi seleziono sempre l'imballo aggiuntivo per nascondere il contenuto perché appunto a volte il packaging di alcuni articoli non è predisposto per le spedizioni: sappiamo tutti delle mirabolanti avventure che si possono avere con i corrieri, non tutti i driver sono attenti ai pacchi/articoli/clienti.Figuriamoci se invece di un articolo messo dentro un pacco vi debbono consegnare un oggetto senza alcuna "protezione"...🔸Questo modello Ruffwear "Front range" offre un secondo attacco per il guinzaglio sul petto che dovrebbe essere una qualche sorta di deterrente per i cani che tirano: ma non credo serva molto per cani di taglia grande completamente privi di un qualunque addestramento.Il mio cane ha oramai smesso di portarmi a spasso (...): con collare o con l'attacco frontale di questa pettorina basta porre semplicemente un po' di resistenza o dare un piccolo colpetto a richiamare l'attenzione che il cane torna sui suoi passi, al passo vicino a me: ma, nel mio caso, se c'è di mezzo una femmina in calore o i da poco scoperti Ratti giganti di Roma è un altro paio di maniche. Lo si tiene a fatica che esso sia collare (io non uso collari a strozzo) o pettorina con attacco frontale.Ho invece la sensazione che l'attacco superiore della pettorina incentivi il mio cane a tirare.Insomma non aspettatevi miracoli se il vostro cane non è stato addestrato adeguatamente a camminare con voi senza tirare: collare o pettorina con attacco frontale, se il vostro cane è abituato a tirare al guinzaglio probabilmente continuerà allegramente a portarvi a spasso.🔸Vi è un modello simile a questo che non ha imbottiture, cercate Ruffwear Hi & Light: potrebbe essere una soluzione più adatta per cani di taglia toy/piccola o comunque che mal tollerano le pettorine.Così ad occhio, forse la pettorina Front Range è un po' troppo rigida/pesante per i cani più piccoli.

Finding the perfect harness has always been a challenge. Some are hard to get on, some don't seem particularly comfortable, and some just seem poorly constructed.First off, the build quality of the Ruffwear harness is exceptional. I am confident that the clips will hold up to our large (29-kilo) labradoodle's most spirited pulling. There are some great features like a stash pocket for his ID or a spare poop bag, and a front loop as an additional contact point for a lead.The harness is designed with the dog's comfort in mind. The padding is plush yet lightweight, and the four points of adjustability ensure that my dog can wear it for extended periods. The only drawback here is there is a lot of fabric in contact with his fur, which for his breed can result in matting with extended use.The front and back leash attachment points are ideal for training or for dogs that tend to pull. I've noticed a significant improvement in leash manners since we started using this harness.The only drawback to this harness is that you must pull it over their head, which my dog does not seem to like very much. I don't want to create any negative associations with walk-time, so I try to give extra cuddles and treats when I put the harness on or off. Not a deal-breaker, but certainly a considerationIn summary, the Ruffwear Front Range Dog Harness is a great product that balances comfort, durability, and functionality. For me, the build quality is worth it.

C’est le deuxième que j’achète parce que j’en suis satisfaite. Il ne restait malheureusement qu’une seule couleur en XS.Le premier s’est déchiré en dessous sur les bords en 2 ans. J’ai considéré que c’était normal même si l’usure a été un peu rapide car nous faisons beaucoup de promenades.J’ai racheté le même malgré un prix assez élevé par rapport à d’autres marques car j’ai l’impression que mon chien tire moins qu’autrefois (quand il avait un harnais d’une autre marque). C’est un petit chien qui a l’habitude de beaucoup tirer et avec ce harnais, c’est moins pire. Je pense que ce harnais est meilleur pour sa santé et pourra lui éviter des douleurs articulaires ou aux épaules. Il me semble bien équilibrer le poids du chien et les forces de traction. C’est pourquoi j’ai jugé cet investissement utile.Mon chien est un chihuahua commun de 5,5 kgs avec de la carrure et un petit cou. Le harnais lui convient bien. Il est très facile à enfiler. Par contre il est difficile à ajuster les premières fois. Nous n’avons pas fini les ajustements. La notice nous invite à faire les ajustements directement sur le chien mais ce n’est pas si simple. Il me faut un certain temps pour y arriver et que mon chien soit parfaitement confortable avec les deux sangles mises pile à la bonne taille de chaque côté, et d’une longueur parfaitement identiques, ce n’est pas évident. Par contre une fois que c’est fait, ça dure dans le temps.

This is our second Ruffhead harness we have bought. Our first one is still in perfect condition after 4 years of constant wear. I love the attractive colours, pleasing design and reflective edgings.Their delivery speed is totally amazing too whether bought from Amazon or on their website. The harness is strong and comfortable to wear and keeps our flighty doggie safe. Thank you RuffWear.

Product feels well made and study. Only issue is the space where the clips are, can be hard to unclip.
