First off let me say how much I love the GBS logo designs. I know you should never judge a book by its cover but they are truly awesome.This product was recommended to me from an acquaintance and is my first use of a beard balm. So far it has done everything it is supposed to do and has worked so well that I have since purchased other scents, even got a coworker to buy some after sampling mine (we have most of the collection between the two of us). My beard is softer and in much better shape thanks to this stuff, I highly recommend it to anyone.The viking is unscented which was what I wanted for my first purchase since I was using a scented beard oil (random brand) and I did not want combining scents.

Smells pretty good especially after it's been applied.

I was previously using a combination of oil and wax from another company and this balm does a great job of combining the two. It doesn't have any hold like a wax, but goes on thicker than an oil and doesn't leave an oily residue. It performs the necessary functions of moisturizing the skin under your whiskers as well as softening dry facial hair to make it more pliable.There is no added fragrance to this balm, it just has a minor scent of the ingredients it is made out of. There is barely any smell to linger under your nose or get on your hands if you touch your beard.If you are looking for something to help with beardruff Viking Blend Beard Balm is good stuff. If you are looking for something that will help you tame your wild beard, or mold your mustache, this isn't what you are looking for.

I needed a scentless product and this has very little scent. Nothing overpowering at all. My girlfriend likes it bc it smells like new shirt merch from a concert. I will try to warm up the container to melt down the product to get rid of the small beads that don't break down easily when applying.
