Take my advice and buy this textbook if you're taking GCSE history!so helpful and breaks down information nicely, ive never gotten confused or had to read something twice while revising from the textbook.all the content you need is in 30 pages so its not overwhelmingly long, and it provides exam style questions for you on every page to test your knowledge and understanding .it also provides even more exam questions in the back of the textbookFrom revising from this textbook only, I achieved an 8 on my previous mock!

These resources are excellent for students at Key Stage 3 and GCSE. Do check your child/student is doing this specific topic. Furthermore, do check what exam board they are doing. This one is for Edexcel but there are others such as AQA, OCR, etc. This is a great Christmas gift if your child needs help in this specific subject WEIMAR AND NAZI GERMANY 1918-1939. It has the most important material to revise, sample exam technique practice questions and model answers.There are around 16 options in History and your child will probably only be studying just 3 of them to enable them to answer these questions in the exam.Do check carefully you get the right 3 books to match what they are learning at school. Ask the teachers for this information. Different schools choose different exam boards and different options from the choice of 16 specific subjects.So your child may be doing History Edexcel and NOT doing this subject in this book. But if they are, then it is an ideal help.Exam technique matters. Any practice matters. These are fantastic resources.You also get a free version online with a code in each book. This can help with doing homeworks.To help your child consider recording the knowledge on some device ( I use old school audio cassette) so they can listen to it. During exam periods their eyes get sore but their ears are always able to listen. It helps them revise without having to use tired eyes. They will really appreciate the effort you make.

Useful text book

I used these books with my son this year for his GCSE History. They break down the information and have great well thought at tasks to do. I learnt so much as well. MAKE SURE THIS IS THE RIGHT EXAM BOARD FOR YOUR CHILD.

Great guide but information wise, the topics that came up in 2018 paper was not in enough detail in this guide... that being said, very easy to use and beneficial

Excellent revision guide for anyone taking GCSE Edexcel history on the new spec (1-9). It has all the information that you need without being too overbearing and the section at the back which explains how to answer the exam questions is brilliant. In addition, the fact that you get a free online version of the textbook is excellent and will be extremely useful to myself.
